My prior 57.2ns result with 6200MT/s CL28 unfortunately turned out to be unstable.

New setup results are stable (many / various stress test / benchmarks/ gaming) and not too far off so staying with this:
Max RAM temps 43/44c when gaming - 1800rpm 80mm Noctua fan on the RAM which is ~ 7c lower without fan.

Nothing special, the RAM won't OC any higher and I'm not going for any fine-tuning.

My last setup with an I7 8700K w/ 2X8GB DDR4@ 3600MT/s CL17 had similar latency but less bandwidth (6 core v. 8 core) so looks about right.

7900X. Fiddled around a lot with memory and with the latest bios from Asus I can hit higher FCLK which had reduced latency and boosted FPS when tested. Previously exact ratios performed better.

Impressive!

What VDD voltage?

Hynix A/M Die? I'm running Hynix A-Die.

I copied your tRFC / FCLK settings. Improved results so thanks! The updated BIOS seems to be good.

I wasn't able to go this low on tRFC or to 2200 FCLK on the prior BIOS.

Have you been stable? I've ran a few stress / stability test and so far so good.

But yeah man really impressive!

Looking forward to more BIOS updates ;) Updated BIOS like 6 X's thus far so it's second nature lol. Used Clear CMOS multiple times as well...

I'm VERY new to this but I find it almost as fun as gaming.

Thank you and I have M-Die I believe. And I've been stable for a couple of weeks with this, on the new bios that just dropped for my board on the 31st as well, and have stressed tested both and everything has been rock solid.

My VDD is 1.43. I've done some not so power friendly things to slightly improve my latency, like disabled C-State control. Will hopefully have time to tweak the newest bios to see if anything improved and I'll post if anything does for me.

I've always found it a game in of itself lol. But lot of very knowledgable people out there to learn from which makes it even more fun.

Cheers.

Damn! With new BIOS (1709) i can't go throw AIDA64 SHA3 test with curve optimize on or with PBO2 @ 80 degrees of Celsium... Full auto work like wonder! In 3dMark i see about 1% drop of CPU performance.

Needs some tuning to sub 65 ns.

B die can do sub 55 ns, but I assume ECC is slower.
Yes. I've been holding off tweaking the ram settings again until the new UEFI update for my board was out of beta and I had some spare time.
I'm getting ready to redo my 128GB test and switch out the Nemix with some genuine Micron to see if my board and replaced CPU will finally handle that.
If not then back to the Nemix and I'll try to crank it back up to DDR4-3600 CL18 which worked on one of my ITX boards.

Man.. you guys are going to force my hand to buy new hardware soon :D

My 5600X was getting jealous watching you guys have fun.. I think this is the first time I have had it in this board..

EXPO profile vs. Custom:
*10.7% improvement in Latency / Write bandwidth.
Should've went with a 2 Dimmer / Can't get under 60ns for the life of me. With my 7900X these settings would probably yield ~ 55ns.
