Lifetime warranty on those dimms?
Nah they are fine.. just a doubling in bandwidth makes me think of when I was running ddr3 and everyone else was on ddr4 :D

Decided to dabble with overclocking the 2x8GB 3200MHz Timetec memory kit I got for my Deskmini. It uses Micron chips.

3200MHz CL22 (stock)

3400MHz CL24

3600MHz CL26

For being one of the cheaper DDR4-3200 kits, it seems to do pretty well.

Interesting how my cache speeds go down though. I had PBO enabled for the first test and disabled for the following two.

I ran one pass of Memtest86+ at 3400MHz and two at 3600MHz with no errors.

This was all at 1.2V on the memory.

Got some new DDR4 G.Skill Samsung B-die to play around with.
Early first bin test it does 3600 CL14 with 1.4V vs 1.45V on my Patriot Viper 4400 C19 kit.
Will do some higher FCLK testing in the week.

I am interested in what kind of L3 bandwidth the AMD and Intel guys can generate if they lock the clocks..

Hi Jesdals, got 2x 8Gb Viper 4000Mhz CL16 couple weeks ago, running at 3800Mhz full stable Whea19 free, but everything over 3933 was plenty of them also stable, but a few dozen and couple hundred WHEA at 4000/IF2000 no matter what I tried to configure in Bios: timmings, voltages, VDDP, VDDG, IOD and so on!
Finnaly I decided go for FSB 102 insteed 100 just to benefit for 3944Mhz Dram setup 3866/IF 1933 tested, perfect stable running no Whea19 after all, I just finished CB 2077 in this settings count 144hours running like a charm !
They are many others starting who recognize me they are using App Whea Suppresor, just to show better performance in IF2000, but this is just a fake illusion!
Just few dozen of 5000 series builds in this world can do that, Whea19 error free at IF2000, lucky them on silicon lottery!
Update after update Agesa combo, still no way to improve ram stability on 4000 IF2000 WHEA19 Errors how knows, I believe we can live with this forever, cause AMD leave the answer behaind theater cortina, focusing on DDR5 now !

Most ZEN 3 can do up to +/-1900 FCLK without WHEA issue. My 5600, 5600X and 5800X all have no issue and there is nothing special about any of them they also go over 2000 FCLK but WHEA is a problem @ 2000 FCLK. With adjusting VSOC and IOD you can get WHEA free up to 1966 FCLK.

To get WHEA free above 3933 or 1966 FCLK in most cases you need to adjust VDD18 which has its risks but doing so has help many with WHEA 19s at and above 2000 FCLk. Some boards like my B450 can't adjust VDD18.

Unfortunately VDD18 affects CPU temp, 3-4° what I read already, but this is not a problem for my Arctic 420 cooler, thx

My cpu is the 5950x unfortunately they are not that often able to go above 1900MHz - did try with earlier bios revision to set FSB to 101 without any succes - L1Tech had a recommendation of setting a fixed FSB in the begining of the x570 serie release but havent revisited since. But perhaps I will give it a try on a later date.

What is your VDD18 setting?
1.840V according to HWINFO64. That is stock I can't change this value on my board.

My cpu is the 5950x unfortunately they are not that often able to go above 1900MHz - did try with earlier bios revision to set FSB to 101 without any succes - L1Tech had a recommendation of setting a fixed FSB in the begining of the x570 serie release but havent revisited since. But perhaps I will give it

What is your VDD18 setting?
Hi than according to @The_King proposal to increase VDD18 voltage, at 3944Mhz WHEA19 errors gone, I was able to pass Usmus 25Cycle whea19 free, never before, thanks for the tip!
I save my new Profile picture attach. these settings doesn't work for me at 4000 IF2000, Whea19 present, no matter what I changed FSB DRAM IF VDD18 and so!
Happy with this setup, enthusiast gamer single player here, enough for me thx

Hi, raised already VDD18 + 1usmus test found WHEA19 free at 3944Mhz CL14-15, doesn't work at 4000 IF2000, even with default timmings CL16-16 Whea19 present, no matter what I changed!
There is something special with this IF chips, happy with my data results anyway, single player gamer salute you, thx!
