i9 7980XE clock is stock but mesh and ram at 3200.
7x8Gb Micron 1Rx8 DDR4 2666 CAS19 ECC REG (from older servers) (i need one more to get the complete two ranks per channel configuration)
I go for 3600 if i have time to tweak it.

Hi check your Event Viewer found thousands of Whea19 inline, you set up Infinity coupled 2,100 none Ryzen can do this over IF 1,900 check other posts here exactly with your Vipper kit 4400 CL19, good luck!
Of course it can. Cezanne is not held back by 12nm IOD.

Hi you I never had whea errors or errors or crashes I tested everything, OCCT, Aida64 stress test, CinebenchR23 in more various games like Battlefield 2042, Warzone, A plague tale requiem. Furthermore, Cezanne has a monolithic die and is therefore not iod-limited as well as an extremely strong memory controller.

Hi man didn't know Cezanne can push over IF 2,000 beeing 5000 series owner, I am thinking now to get one, 5700G maybe, to increase performance Vipper 4000Mhz kit CL14, thanks and good luck!

Don't worry, it's no problem. Good luck to you too.

What do you think of the result? and do you have any advice to stay under 50ns? Thank you all.

I cannot advise you cause your timmings are far big big numbers to me, and your Infinity too, but there is a lot of members who own same kit 4400 CL19 result, you can check earlier posts, beside you have nice looking scores already, thx

Thx

My 5800x3D daily vs my 5600x at its peak.

Pushed the 5800x3D a bit, still tons of whea errors over 1900fclk.

Hello, this is good result for 3800 cl 16? Latency and reed speed is normal?

Not much to change looks good. Can try dropping RTP to 6 but you may not even notice the difference. AIDA64 numbers look OK.

However, if you want to dabble abit then try to get 3800 CL15-15-15-30-45 with 1.4V-1.45V depending on how good your IC bin is VDIMM voltage can vary.

Hi all I have slightly improved my score I am looking for more stringent settings (is it possible to go to 16-16-16-33?) Thanks.

If that's Samsung B-die, try lowering tRCDWR to 8 if it will work.

You can also get that core clock up higher by running 104 base clock AND the +200 PBO offset. My 5600G is running over 4800MHz boost, and it never seems to run into the power limit so it's almost always boosting.

You can if you give the dimms enough voltage. This was with Micron Rev.B they dont do low RCDRD like Samsung B-die.

The best I got with one of my Samsung B-die kits was 4066 CL15-15-15. The was a ZEN 3 Vermeer 5600 so APU should be able to do much more.

Ok thanks for the replies I would also like to say that I am using a stock 5600g and I have a vsoc voltage of 1.24v and I am using the xmp2 profile 4200mhz 1.35v. Then I would also like to ask you why profile 1 at 4400mhz 1.45v doesn't go and makes several beeps and then never exits the bios?

Is that the Patriot Viper Steel? Yeah I didn't have much luck with those on Cezanne, but they were great on my Vermeer for tuning low timings at 3800MT/s. I could get the Vipers to work if I loosened them up so much that they were worse performance at that speed. If your BIOS has the feature, be sure that SPD read optimization is disabled.

For Cezanne I have much better luck with Micron E kits that seems to do better with the higher frequency and they run 1T GDM off 1:1:1.

Also try swapping your DIMM postion take the dimm from A2 and swap it with B2. this can help or make things worse. this test is important to identify the optimal position for your DIMM slots.

the rams are the patriot viper steel 4400mhz cl19 with the samsung b-die

thats the first thing i did and the best position in my motherboard is the one i have now

I also tried starting the rams at 4266mhz they come out of the bios but they are unstable on windows and I had crashes so what I want to ask you is given that the profile is at 1.35v could it be useful to increase the voltage on the dimms to increase the frequency? and do you know if 1.5v on b-die is safe? Thanks in advance.

I have run up to 1.6V on both my Samsung B-die and Micron Rev E/B klts without issues.

I consider 1.5V safe on Samsung B-die but you should have decent airflow in you case in order to avoid overheating issues.

Before going there try 1.47V then 1.48V etc. Best to check this thread on overclock.net you may find more useful info there.

so it is possible that the xmp1 profile at 4400mhz does not start because the 1.45v voltage is low, perhaps changing it to 1.47v or more could it go?

I would also like to know if it is possible to make my ram go to 1t gdm off because I have already tried but I had to reset the cmos. so now i'm on 2t gdm off. I also tried with gdm on 1t but got slower result.

I've tried up to 1.55v on that kit and cannot get 1T. I ended up using it with a 5800x and tuning for 3800CL14 4x8GB. GDM Enabled benched better than 2T for me.

I am ok with 1.6v. Seemed scary before but my sticks only run a c or two warmer.

Hi, do you think I can "copy" some times you have with my 4200 frequency? Thank you.
