I think mismatched vram amounts could be the cause of your issues.:(

Hello. I'm sorry for my English at first, hope u understand.
Has configuration:
P7P55 LX Mobo,
2xGTX 460 (MSI + Inno3D),
600W.
Trying everything: different drivers, different OS, changes between videocards. Find 1 trouble, hope it is fixible. In different tests like Furmark, OCCTPT, Unigine_Heaven and nvidiainspector integrated SLI works well. But in games i has 4-6 fps. I think its because 1 of PCI-E slots works in x4. Tested 1 of the cards in that slot - again perfect in tests (24-26 fps, for example), but in games 4-6 fps. What is it may be?
Thank alot for any help and advices.

No any idia for my problem? I see in other topic guy, who has same configuration and configure SLI successifully.

I have two GTX 970 cards apparently these cards cannot be SLI together. I used latest differentSLIauto. This allowed me to activate the sli option in Nvidia control panel. However the problem I now have is that it keeps telling me to connect the cards with an Sli connector but they are connected with the bridge.

I followed the steps described in the video at the end of page 69 and still nothing.

Tried latest video driver (365.10) and 362.00
OS: Windows 10
Motherboard: sabertooth 990fx
Video Cards: GTX 970 SSC (04G-P4-3979-KB ) , GTX 970 ftw+ (04G-P4-3978-KR)

Please help me!!!

Not sure who told you that but they would be wrong IMO.
As long as clocks are the same you should be able to SLI them. (depends on motherboard support)

That's not a very helpful answer from them, in fact I doubt they want to assist people given an answer like that.
There's no valid reason given why they won't work together.
It's my understanding as long as the clocks are the same and the brand is the same it should work.

Welcome to the forums NetCrusher!!
I would check make sure the drivers you using for SLI are active when booting, go to control panel>admin tools>system configuration>start up if there in there make sure they r set to run, also in the same section go to tab>services>click hide all Microsoft services(left bottom) see if the driver is listed here also. then reboot, if you change more then 1 setting, you also need to reboot each time....

New drivers perfectly patched with Different SLI Auto 1.4:clap:

Nice yeah I found working links and yeah I'm on windows 10 x64 and got it working... overwriting nvlddmkm.sys isn't possible in windows..had to copy it in windows 7 pe but it's working now on gtx 460 2win 365.19 ..utilization isn't 100% though... not cpu bottleneck since dual xeons 24gb ram... seeing 50% gpu1 and 100% gpu 2... or 30% gpu1 and 70% gpu2...cs go

That Scaling Results are really bad dude. What games are you using to test your system? Not all games are well optimized for SLI scaling however a lot of games scale really good with 2 GPUs. For example i have seen 95-99% GPUs utilization on 660Tis 3way SLI with Different SLI Auto with games like Tomb Raider, All Sniper Elite Titles including Zombies spin off, Crysis 2 and 3, Battlefield 3 and 4 a other good games. Can you try with this games a see if you results get better. Also verify if your Pcie slot speed are configured at least at 4x...cheers.

I think I need to ddu since 10 installed a driver upon installing windows. Utilization at one point would go to 100% on both cores (EVGA 2WIN)... Setting CS GO to 3840x2160 the 2win can pull over 100fps at that res. Then utilization drops fps is horrible... I think I just need to disable auto driver updates then DDU then reinstall the driver...If that doesn't work it's 365.19s fault and gotta find the driver that yields 100% in game no drops...

Hello all,

Different SLI is working for me driver-wise, however when I run any game the gpu fan of my second card goes ballistic and eventually my pc will reboot itself. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks.

I'm sure it's because cards are too close one card is going to 100C and shutting down .. need to work over pads to space slots for breathing room

Thanks for the reply. There's equal space in the case between the cards. My main card is fine, fan barely speeds up, while card two screams almost instantly. I feel like if it were a heat issue it would be a gradual climb, no?
