I have a XP2800+ Barton core. Stock it runs at 333 but I always ran it at 400fsb:)

I would sell it shipped to ya USPS Priority mail for $25:rockout:

will definitely have to hit you up for this if no one shows me anything better :toast:

I have a 478 P4 I could clip a few pins off and ship to you :eek:

That's classic dude. :roll::rockout:

Anyway, I'll give you my 2800 Barton for $15 shipped if you're interested. It's been packaged up and ready for shipping for about a year. I had another interested person about a year ago and they told me they wanted it and to go ahead and package it up. They never responded to my payment requests though, so it's just been sitting here. Send me a pm if you would like it. :) Alternatively, I have an Athlon XP-M 1800 that's been sitting outside of its packaging for quite some time now. I'd give that to you for free plus shipping since I don't know if it still works or not. Also, the 1800 wouldn't be worth it anyway if you don't have the ability to adjust the multiplier in the BIOS. I bought a mobile CPU once without having multiplier management and it defaulted to the lowest possible speed. :(

@OP: Do you have any specs on the motherboard, such as chipset, what FSB it supports, etc? If it came with a Duron, it may be an older board with only 200/266 support, and it may not support Bartons at all (they run 333 or 400 usually.)

Ah, excellent point man! Many of the early boards did not support the faster Barton core chips.
Specks on the board are indeed needed.

I have a 1.1GHZ Athlon I can give for 10 shipped. XD
