Hi, I have an old pc which I was trying to repurpose.
It has an AMD phenom x6 1045t, 10GB ddr3 ram, 300W PSU.
It originally had a GT 420 installed, which worked well. Then I bought an AMD r9 350 GPU which I installed, but no display is shown. The fan spins, when I remove the GPU, it gets warm, and caps lock key works, but I don't get any signal on the monitor. I am using a DVI to HDMI cable which worked for the GT 420. There are no other PCIe slots to put the GPU, no other PC's to test out the r9 350 and no other cables to use for it.
I have tried uninstalling the Nvidia drivers using DDU but it didn't work.
Only whenever I plug the GT 420 back into the pc, I get a display and am able to get into windows, but not when I plug in the r9 350, it says no signal.
The guy I got this GPU from said it worked perfectly for him, but has refused to take any refund. I think he used a display port to HDMI cable but I don't know for sure.
