Got locked out of my account for a bit, broke a few things, had some fun:

My issue was edge, clearing cache fixed it. I guess something cached related to the server swaps, and glitched out.

Yes, yes it is. Stop using it. ;)
Cant. Using other browsers just puts me on edge.

(I use multiple browsers, for different tasks. Edge is my social media one.)

In the post? A Chinese encoded link

Just seeing this, sorry for being the culprit lol. That's crazy!

I'm not seeing any issues here in Blighty.

W1zzard pls
running two database backups at the same time = bad idea

making good progress with the server move, hope to be able to switch this week

meh that didn't work.. trying to change the index on a 10 gb database table .. thought it would be quick .. looks like it would take over an hour t.t

IP's the same still, I guess that's just a proxy-/gateway server?

Correct, we might get rid of that in the coming days or weeks. With the proxy it's super easy to switch between infrastructures, without having to wait for DNS changes etc

Well as long as that isn't causing any grief I do not see a reason to stop using it, tbh.

We will save 2 milliseconds on each request, eliminate a single-point-of-failure, save a few bucks on server costs and reduce administration/monitoring workload (in that order of priority)

I mean, then your next server in line becomes the single-point-of-failure, wouldn't it? :D
Requests are plenty fast as-is, and being able to swap to the failover instantaneously isn't the worst idea ever, but yeah jm2c I guess
