I was watching one of his videos last night as I do sometimes and noticed he had mentioned TechPowerUp which I thought was a great thing and then heard him say about being unimpressed with the site...

Does anyone know why?? I found a little information in his Twitter feed but other than that, still nothing that makes any sense to me.. Would someone here at TPU be able to fill in the many blanks at the moment? I'm just curious... If this is not allowed for any reason please delete

I believe it was something to do with an news article?? I didn't care too much I just wondered what he was on about as I heard the site/forum being mentioned, was just interested

It was a follow up to his previous "how much water do You need to kill a gpu" video.
He used our database to check bioses for 1650 he was using.
I didn't catch any off comments though.
Another Youtuber complaining about TPU sigh.

Thanks guys for the replies I was just wondering what was up with him and TPU.. I like the guy, he goes a bit nutty sometimes but that's how you get the views and subscribers I guess... Sometimes it's a good thing and I do have a laugh when watching his videos.

I do seem to be watching a little more Linus but I'm not such a fan but he's got 4 times the subs compared to Jay..

Either way, I've not noticed it before though which is why I was surprised and wondered if anyone had any further info

I like jayztwocents hes funny to watch and has some very uselass videos because of him I know how to flash vbios now hes a all out nice guy and has giveaways to help people I wouldn't be dissing him at all he makes videos to help people is that not good enough or what like him or not hes an outstanding person

Ehhh, what did HE say? There are many people not impressed with the site for many reasons (which is the same on every forum). It would have been helpful to link the video or something.....

I mean, I don't care much either, it is Jay... but, in previous videos I know he referenced them without being disparaging.

I see people above mention the news... it is likely about the whole GNexus fiasco and BS news (again...) that had TPUs and bt's balls in a vice.... did you miss that debacle?

Anyway, that video was published 11/5 so it was after the shitstorm TPU created for itself a couple of weeks back... so I would guess that mention is in reference to it.

Jay and Steve are buddies and have appeared in each others videos several times. I'm sure it was a "I got your back" type comment.

I find Jay similar to Steve, they have good things to say but stay on topic as well as my four old telling me story about her day. I prefer the articles on the GN web site over the videos.

I have a few choice words in my opinion of youtube tech enthusiasts. But, as the saying goes - got nothing nice to say; dont say anything at all.

Anyway, does it matter? Has this JayZ created software useful for all computer techs? No? Then who cares. TPU has with the software available on its site. So I have more respect for this site. Cant say I have full respect for everyone on the forums, but overall, site is good.
