TechPowerUp GPU-Z 0.3.5 Released

DDR vs non DDR? real MHz and what the marketing people say they run at, is not always the same thing.

(DG, DDR 2 1066Mhz is actually 533MHz real)

yeah but when I overclock my memory to 891 it shows 891 which doesn't add up?

no that's defined in the driver

could you code it to pull it from the driver?

for example ATI card detected

48xx series?

yes

read from driver location

location in driver to read

??

i mean i know it was possible at one point to read the clocks directly from the card and if i remember correctly they are now read from the driver so could you read the exact model for 48xx series cards directly from the driver like the clocks are already done?

the driver doesnt know the model. it knows the asic which is rv770 in all cases

FX5500? now thats impressive:cool: but will it show temps? as i have an old FX5700, but i have a feeling these cards didn't have a sensor right?

could it be lowering to idle clocks in a 2D state, and when you're OCing its locking it to the 3D?
