Hello guys, I'm still playing the 'saving for a decent PC' game. Awful year and my PC was a casualty (had to sell it in Feb) Used to be a regular on here (especially this thread) but haven't had the heart to come back and get green looking at all your stunning screenshots.

I've been surviving on a secondhand PS4 Pro but boy o boy do I miss my PC. I will get one again eventually, my Steam library demands it !!! My wallet has other ideas though

Would you be willing to get older hardware to tide you over? If so, start a thread about a custom PC build and tag me. I am fairly good at helping people make very reasonable build on the cheap.

Thanks lex but I'll get there eventually. I have a huge library of games and the aim will be to play those at the highest settings again.

And thanks for all the other messages guys, with everything that is happening in the world my problems are so miniscule it's laughable

I will say that gaming is my #1 form of escapism and #2 is getting out there in nature and seeing all that is good in the world. #2 is always freely available to me so just for that reason alone I'm luckier than some people in the world.

I run this on my XP gamer for the single player like the older XP era games that were really good.

With a good videocard (i use an GTX 1060 3GB OC,) you can max out everything.

Back in the days with my ATI 6870 1 GB it was not possible

Someohow I'm still playing a lot of 2000-2010 games, I guess the nostalgia playing them at 1440p with everything maxed out hmmm

My next games are F.E.A.R, Protytope and Mass Effect 1 (remastered ME1)

NOSTALGIA hitting hard.. and I still got to go thru some old NFS / COD games... damm

Great idea! I may go back and try Metro Exodus again at 1440p. I really enjoyed that game even though is was fatally bugged.
