HOLY CRAP!!! A 7970 does 1228 GFLOPS DP?!

Looks like I'm gonna have to break out the 280X. I'm guessing mine'll run this @ 1250/1850 no problem(likely a bit higher on the core).

It's tough, I have been saving for a new system but the performance increase won't be as legendary as the cost. I only curse my system occasionally, but it plays games fine.

I keep thinking about adding another thenth as I'm only at 1.2 core to get this speed and people have pushed these to 1.35 and been stable 24/7

Dell T3620 Workstation. I'll never understand why they ship with K processors...I actually paid a bit more to get the K vs non-K...and the bios has ZERO overclocking allowed in it.
