TF2 gets multi-core support

Those saying TF2 is so easy to run, what's the point? I'm using a HD 3300 right now, and it's hell. The multicore option REALLY improves the framerate. Same with Left 4 Dead.

How would multicore help a weak igp though. Its not like its cpu limited. Do you think the cpu then does some gpu rendering ?

Run TF2 at directX 9.0...rather than the default dx9.0c

A lot of the heavier graphical additions that came from orange box uses dx9.0c, so uses an older directx will improve FPS.

I get 23-35 with multicore off at 1920x1080, all things on medium and 45-57 with it on. That's pretty good for onboard.

In age of conan there is an option to enable/disable multi core.
I get an impressive boost when its enabled, and it's not like my system is cpu limited...

This update helped my performance a bit, now my framerate doesnt dip into the 30s in intense battles, it hovers around 100 now
