C64 game called "Matrix" (nothing to do with movie), had that game and a Quickjoy 120 joystick.
Still remember the game as if it was yesterday I played it.

This was actually my first game I had ever played.

This

My childhood would not have been the same without it, hands down the best SNES game in my opinion (with like 12 games tying second).

Honorable mentions: zelda: link to the past.

Oldest console I owned was an NES. I'm only 21, but I've actually played an atari 2600, ended up playing one of the worst games evar.

Mine would have to be Star Trek The Next Generation: A Final Unity.

Saddly, it won't run on anything past XP(it was a DOS game, and it won't run on 95/98), so I don't have a machine that will run it right now. I tried getting it up an running using virual machines(both Virtual PC and VMWare) but always got stuck at the same issue of a VESA Driver error every time I launch the game. I've been tempted to build a complete shit machine just to put XP on and allow me to play the game again...

 All you had to do to score in Tecmo Bowl was break to the top of the screen and run down the side line. Call it a bug but no defense could ever stop it. Awesome game! TIGER BLITZ!

Between Mega Man 2 and Xmen:COTA I guess.

Mega Man 2 is a seriously awesome game -I would either rank that or DragonQuest III for the famicom/NES as the best for me. I'm in the middle of a month long vacation from Battlefield Bad Company 2 and keeping entertained with these classics on an emulator for my PSP (I still own the original copies of the games -even have the boxes, instruction manuals, etc. somewhere in my parents' basement).

A few more classics, in my opinion, are Double Dragon, Space Harrier, Wonder Boy, Green Beret (aka Rush N Attack) and Dragon Ninja (aka Bad Dudes Vs Dragon Ninjas) :rockout:

Ermmmmmmm, no they didnt :)

Both Super Mario World and Street Fighter II were available on the Super Nintendo, not the Nintendo 64 ;) Im not sure if they ever did a Super Mario World/Street Fighter II bundle either TBH. I know a SMW bundle and SFII bundle were available at different times (seperately). Im pretty sure they released a SFII Turbo bundle and a Super Mario Allstars + SMW bundle, but again, never Mario/SF together ???????

Elite, as far as I know it first came out on the BBC:

http://www.frontierastro.co.uk/Elite/bbc.html

This game basically provided the blueprint for all future space exploration titles. In essence, Mass Effect is little more than an update. Then again, Elite required considerable more imagination, tied as it is to the graphics of its day.

And people call FSB's old? I'm a relic. :D

Manic Miner

I still get a warm feeling thinking of all those hours in front of my small tv playing Manic Miner.
