The TPU UK Clubhouse

Another winner, 10/10 for the price. This would cost me 3x as much in USA. For some reason the Brits don't care for chicken wings, but in America we eat the hell out of them, and they are pricey as hell because supply can never meet demand. Only 2.50 for an entire bag that fills me up, unbelievable. Now you Brits, keep enjoying your lamb and your Sunday roasts, you keep the wings cheap for me damnit! :rockout: :rockout: :rockout:

America has a culture of finger foods (pizza, wings, burgers, etc) and wings in particular are associated with Football.

Not for tailgating, for TV football.

Pizza and wings.
Yup, in home TV American FootBall watching goodness. Wings are not a part of it in my area. TBell(or DelTaco) comes in the top 10 as well. Same thing in SoCal, Utah and NYC(all places I've been in recent years and have been a part of a group watching a game). This is true for FBall, BBall and NASCAR. Pretty much all the same. No one ever gets Wings. Maybe it's just my group of family & friends?

My Nascar munch is peanuts and beer, or the occasional cheeky burger from Maccies. Maybe a pizza. Wings are too messy, not to mention they barely contain any meat. Not my thing.

Exactly...why bother with these toxic ready meals?!

the fridge ones I buy from Sainsburys really are not that bad for you, if you look at the ingredients on the back it's honestly not bad at all imo (I would argue its actually healthy)

here is the back of my indian from sainsburys in the fridge right now, where is the bad part? true, it would be nice if its olive oil instead of the oil it uses, but other than that i see no issues

I never actually order hot wings. That's due to the wife making the frigging most awesome hot wings ever!!!

We have taken them to people that claim they don't care for hot wings and we will tell them to try one.......They usually eat 5 or 6.

I keep telling her, she needs to patent them suckers. :p:p:p

Must be a slow news day down at the BBC

Also. How sad do you have to be to complain about something like this?? ( :edit: Well no so much 'complain' but sad enough to write an email to the brand about it)

And why should they? Who is he? The King? the Taxman?? Food safety inspector/enforcement??

If its not going to kill you. Why do you have to know?

::EDIT::

He probably could have gotten more than just £2 for his effort if he didnt eat it. Put it in a clear plastic case and sold it on ebay. Some collector probably would have given him £5 for it.

Same here. I don't care about the temperature, but I want sunshine!

Can someone in the UK please help me with language. In America, sometimes my Dad and I will cook bratwurst, but when I search for this word at Sainsburys or Morrisons website, nothing comes up. How exactly do I find this type of food here? It's kind of like a sausage (but it isn't) I mean, it's very different than breakfast sausage.

What do you call it here?

You'd need to define what you mean by a Bratwurst. It's just another type of sausage. You can get them in some restaurants that do German/Turkish crossover. Not all foodstuffs in America translate to the European original. You guys have a habit of creating new versions.

You can get them online, or go to a euro-deli.

The first result in google:
It looks a lot whiter in real life. I have some in my fridge right now.

Edit: Often, it's a lot better to walk around in a supermarket than looking online. Your eyes are the best search engine you can ask for.

These are the ones we buy in America, ours have no nitrites in them either, which is a good thing i think. unusual for america to be ahead of the game so to speak

similar shape, but ours are never white, even the different flavors we have. I guess it is worth a try
