Yeah. Thermalright really came up with some crazy designs for heatsinks back then.
Its a bit depressing to check their catalogue and see how its full of tower coolers and the small little compact low profile CPU coolers. Theyve given up trying to innovate and decided to play it safe and follow the herd.
They do everything their competitors do while not being competitive... Case fans, thermal paste... They even got their own AIOs but i think they are quite new to that market.
I look at that video and I look at their catalogue now and all i see is that their spirit has been broken.
Even Zalman to a lesser extent who has pretty much vanished off the face of the earth and is barely alive is more alive than Thermalright. Zalman's portfolio/catalogue has so much more stuff. PC Cases, Power supplies. HDD coolers... They even had their own line of monitors, SSDs and Gaming chairs at one point.
