Thermalright computex 2010 insane coolers

For some reason youtube suggested me 9 years old video with coolers by thermalright showed off at computex. These are some insane designs and i would love to know if these were released to be available in shops and if someone in here tried any of these?

The very first cooler looks like an early revision of the Macho series, which can currently be bought (Rev.B and Rev.C versions).

Yeah. Thermalright really came up with some crazy designs for heatsinks back then.

Its a bit depressing to check their catalogue and see how its full of tower coolers and the small little compact low profile CPU coolers. Theyve given up trying to innovate and decided to play it safe and follow the herd.

They do everything their competitors do while not being competitive... Case fans, thermal paste... They even got their own AIOs but i think they are quite new to that market.

I look at that video and I look at their catalogue now and all i see is that their spirit has been broken.

Even Zalman to a lesser extent who has pretty much vanished off the face of the earth and is barely alive is more alive than Thermalright. Zalman's portfolio/catalogue has so much more stuff. PC Cases, Power supplies. HDD coolers... They even had their own line of monitors, SSDs and Gaming chairs at one point.

This cooler is from that time period and I'm very lucky to have it.
Got it NOS and to this day it works great.

Scythe Susanoo mounted on an Maximus VIII Impact.
Or maybe the Impact is mounted to the Susanoo - You decide.

Thermalright made some really good pieces I'd love to find one day if possible.
If I had know then what I know now I'd have a few.

Wonder if Thermalright's intent was passive cooling? Airflow from the case fans for heat removal?

I've always been a fan of big coolers, had a thermaltake big typhoon, cooler master hyper 612, silverstone heligon he-01, and now running a noctua nh-d15s.

One of the biggest I've seen is the no fan.

What are you talking about? They gave up trying to innovate? A lot of the "big" heatsink companies you see today use ideas innovated from Thermalright. News flash, the herd followed them, and Scythe.

Also, that is not their AIO, they just paid a company to put their name on it, like almost all the other AIO's you see.. patents are a bitch. Its tough selling top performing heatsinks to the masses when they are infatuated with pretty lights and pretend water cooling systems.

Also, Fuck Zalman.
