We have received many distraught emails from users across the globe complaining that their stock cooler would not allow them to overclock their servers. Another issues brought up was the noise they have to tolerate from the high RPM fans in order to keep the CPU at mediocre operation level. To solve these problems we upgraded the original HR-01 with 6 heat pipes, and with its proprietary thru holes you can pair it up with any low RPM 120mm fan and add the ability and flexibility to OVERCLOCK! At the same time enjoying the quietness the HR-01X brings while you work effortlessly and quietly.

Features
  • 120mm design for low-noise fan operation (120mm Fan optional)
  • Proprietary through holes on fins for efficient ventilation
  • Six heatpipes for well spread heat around aluminum fins
  • Soldered fins to copper base (nickel plated) to make effective contact
  • Light weight and easy installation
  • Adjustable positioning on CPU for best angle on installation
  • Dimension: L110 x W60 x H159.5(mm) Heat sink only
  • Weight: 600g (heatsink only)

Motherboard Compatibilities
  • Intel Xeon : 5000 Series,7000 Series. (Socket 603,Socket 604,Socket 771)
  • Support Duo Core, Quad Core Processors
  • For AMD Socket F processors (3U/4U) you need to buy 939 Bolt thru kit for your HR-01 X

the second pic and the first pic dont look alike at all, the the first one looks like an ultra90/120 and the second one looks like an ifx.

:)
That's because this is a dual CPU board....with two HR-01X coolers.

seems useless. Anyone who builds a SERVER isn't going to use it for anything that needs overclocking.

Maybe DanTheBanjoman would have a go with them?!:)

ok, then can you explain why there are 8 heatpipes on that 6 heatpipe cooler?????????

im sure people would oc thieir optys and what not, as well on the true critical servers, they could use it for like when they really need some extra juice and cant provide it.

It has 6 pipes that run from fins to base to fins. So 12 if you count just the ends. First it was Ultra 120 Extreme with 6, then Ultima-90 (mine) with 6 and now this. Wonder what they do next as there is no space to add more pipes (if you don't make base bigger=too big to do any good).

People running game servers.

People running critical servers don't overclock, the possibility of instability with overclocking isn't something you want in a stable server.

Niothing different from the original...

Why is this an HR-01 X? The six heatpipe HR-01 is an HR-01 Plus, I should know, since I own one.
