I spilled a whole smoothie on my current keyboard, which is this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16823129024
I took the keys off and took the whole thing apart and cleaned it, but I want to be ready to order another one, just in case that one doesn't survive. If it survives, I'll keep my existing keyboard. For now I'm using a logitech wireless keyboard which is the only one I had floating around :'(
Since I can't find that same keyboard anywhere now, (even back when I bought it I couldn't find it anywhere and then the moment it was on Newegg I bought it there and then shortly after it went out of stock)... I do have a $15 credit with cooler master so I'd like to buy from their online store if possible,. My purchase preference is 1. CM store 2. Amazon 3. Newegg 4. Other?
Anyway, I need a full size keyboard with numpad, must be backlit, and I really love the MX blue switches in my current keyboard. However, it seems that brown is easier to find, so I'm wondering how they will compare. I use my computer for 75% web development/typing and 25% gaming.
If I'm willing to go brown I see these two:
http://www.cmstore-usa.com/quickfir...-backlighting-and-customization-brown-switch/
http://www.cmstore-usa.com/masterkeys-pro-l-mechanical-rgb-cherry-mx-brown-switch/
Is the only difference the fanciness of the backlight? Really I had no issue with the normal blue backlight on my old keyboard. I do see on CM's site that they make a Blue switch version of that more expensive one, model SGK-6020-KKCL1-US but it is out of stock on B&H, which is the only place I can find it (I did register for in stock notification)? Why are all Blue keyboards always so hard to buy?
Thank you for any input on this.
