I'd put Supermicro, Iwill and Tyan above those. Then again those generally are high end boards and no overclocking kings or anything.

ECS isn't bad, just dont expect the world when you try to overclock, beyond that, rock solid.

well once you get around the fact that you can only winflash the bios; they often times have one hell of a lot of options when it comes to ram oh and the oc you get isnt half bad it just depends on what you use

It's not THAT great... P5B-Deluxe is a better overclocker.... My P5WDH can only hit 420 FSB.... Seems that's on PAR with the majority out there... Not to mention the RAM diverders on the board suck ass. You can only run 1:1 or MAYBE 4:5. Anything over that and you're SOL. My 6600 OC'd to 3.4 GHz is a nice clock, but my GSkill D9's which I know for a fact run 1080 Mhz at 4-4-4-12 can only run at 945 Mhz on this board. Asus needs a BIOS update to fix this mess....

it could definatly be better, but i think its rooted to psu problems which i hope to fix soon. im only 100% stable at about 2.5ghz i think with a new psu and possibly a better cpu cooler i can easily sit stable at 2.7-2.8ghz.

yeah, the ram dividers definatly need some attention.

You can achieve higher fsb's up to and beyond 500mhz after a simple voltmod to increase the voltage to the northbridge ;)

ABIT is great.. I remember my mobos (BE6, NF7-S) with joy.

I KNOW Asrock doesn't even try to be on a great-mobo-list, but I think they deserve some attention with their Dual-Sata2. It impressed the butts out of me and many others. :)

OK now narrow it down to AM2!

if you're planning to overclock don't choose the ASUS M2N-E, i think the SLI version has some problems too :shadedshu
