Dont you just love Nvidia's (ATI are just as guilty BTW) misleading GPU names in the mobile market....:banghead:

At least they put the M to indicate it as Mobile... and what's with the "for an affordable price, starting at $1,299.99 MSRP."????

Very nice looking lappy. Nice price tag as well for the features it offers.

Gotta be honest - something about this thing makes me just want one ...

Even though it IS pink :\

>games
>pink

Market Failure. Learn to market better Toshiba.

It's better looking than last gen Qosmio, it had pink flames and was like ~4 in. thick.

It's red and black actually. Not pink. ;)

You sound like Donut from Red Vs. Blue. "It's not pink it's lightish red!"

Also, informative picture:

pink is HOOT xD

so MANLY

You know product pictures on the net almost never look like that in real life.

Just sexy. No way Apple would ever make a lappy with a GPU like that.

Well, just bought my Sony Vaio a month ago at the same price.... I wish I hasn't. This lappy look too sexy.

I actually wouldn't mind a pink and black laptop. After all its just like 5% Pink and 95% Black. Its sexy. :D

Looks a lot thinner than my now-old Toshiba X205-SLi4, but I don't think I'll buy another laptop from them due to my 8600m GTs dying 4 times and no recall from Toshiba (although the death of the chips is likely NVIDIA's fault.)

It looks pink in bta's post, I'm not arguing that

But Google Images confused me I admit, since only one image is pinkish while the rest are... red?

I have always wanted a Qosmio, they just keep getting better/cheaper

Toshiba and Asus laptops in my book are the best! I avoid HP and Compact like a plague!

Actually I cropped that down from a 300 px/in to a 72 px/in image. Maybe it lost some colour over clipboard. The original image is 12000 x 9000 something. The original image is meant for the print media, not exactly online media.

Guys, it's red. I checked out one of the Best Buy (they always sell 2 or 3 days before release date) when I was in Irvine, CA and it's a chromish-red color with a carbon-fibre-like design on the cover. Yes, it's the one with the GTX 460M and an Intel i7 quad-core CPU.

Toshiba usually uses black as base color and silver, grey and red as secondary in the mid and high notebooks. They have some 12" notebooks with core solo wich upper cases are violet red (thx PVTCaboose1337 for the color name xD). But it's only one model, so it's quite strange that toshiba would put that violet red in a high end notebook.
