OCZ showed off its latest high-performance SSD for the consumer market, built in the full-height PCI-Express add-on card form-factor, the RevoDrive 350. The drive features a PCI-Express 2.0 x8 bus interface, and several SSD subunits making up a host-agnostic RAID 0 array; which is bootable. OCZ claims sequential transfer speeds of up to 1,800 MB/s, with 4K random access throughputs of up to 140,000 IOPS, for its top-end 480 GB and 960 GB variants. The company set up a soft-RAID using two of these drives, and put it through popular synthetic benchmarks. It scored as high as 3,752 MB/s in one test.

hmm glad to see someone found a use for those asus 775 ROG chipset fans

Active cooling from a small whining fan just for a storage solution? I think I'll pass.

Does this mean that we'll see people with water cooled SSDs?

I told you that 1 year ago.... soon we will have triple slot three fan or water coolers for SSD's :D

The 3rd picture is hilarious! 96% health for BRAND NEW SSDs. :))))))))
OCZ strikes again!

i like how they used those small asus fan ^^

remind me of my old m3a32-mvp board who shipped that little fan with it :p

:toast:kuddos

Yeah I think a couple of those Asus fans were included with my old Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe socket 939 nForce 4 board. That was what,....2004 maybe 2005,....old school,...

Never used these fans though,....

Those RevoDrives are going to be expensive. They better throw in the mini fans.

I am curious, 96% Healthy?

Is it a real number? An anomaly?

They better through in an extra 4% of healthy chips!

Looks like it's the information of a single subunit (120GB) and 776GB had been written to it meaning that the entire unit has had ~3TB worth of data written. This has happened over 30hrs and they're basing life (ie: warranty) at 50GB/day.

A friend of mine bought a RevoDrive 110GB 3 years and 1 month ago, guess when it died. They're pretty good at calculating the average user's use of their system, lol.

Do people still buy OCZ?? :))

Blower fans to cool your SSD... that gives me an O face... :O fan porn, right there

I'm more interested in the latency.
