Upgraded to 5800X3D and RX 7900 XTX, nothing but problems, mediocre performance

I took a look at the new cyberpunk performance analysis. The 7900xtx is comparable to the 3080 in ray tracing. That would have been pretty good last generation. Nobody is buying AMD for Ray tracing though. Well maybe @faye but they have learned from their mistake.

Personally, the 4090 is barely sufficient for ray tracing without dlss. I won't care until the x60 equivalent card has 2x 4090 performance in ray tracing. In the mean time I am very happy with my AMD gpu.

With using RT ULtra + DLSS v3.5 + RR (without RT OD/PT), my old rtx still is very good with that rpg pc.

anyway..... for the OP, are your PC still have the troubles, today ???

Install 10 yet ?

Install 10 yet ?

main issue Faye is having is HDR from what I understand, and HDR has always been shitty on Windows and AMD, personally I could care less about HDR, so I guess that's why I have had no issues.

but yeah I personally rock win 10 and linux mint in dual boot.

It's about as good as it's getting, I think.

Install 10 yet ?
No need, no benefit - or at least there shouldn't be. If AMD's drivers work better with 10 than they do 11 they really need to reallocate some funds and get their shit together, it's not like it's a new OS at this point.

So bought wrong card for priorities, smh.

Hey, made an account just to ask out of curiosity, did you ever manage to fix the problem?
