If you have installed the GeForce 375.86 WHQL drivers you may experience a variety of issues. According to users on Guru3D forums, and indeed users here on our very own forums, the drivers released just yesterday have had reports where certain games frame rates are cut in half, however more alarmingly many users also report memory clock speed drops resulting in on-screen flickering and instability.

The memory speed and flickering issues appear to be limited to cards using the "Pascal" architecture, NVIDIA have acknowledged that the issues are widespread and work is already underway to remedy them. We expect either that a hotfix or new WHQL driver set will follow shortly, depending on their release cycle.

Damnit Nvidia, get your shit together. I am tired of dicking around with your crap drivers, what the hell are you guys doing over there. Quit messing with the GFE that nobody wants, but you are shoving down our throats, and get the display drivers right!

I guess making $ hand over fist on your overpriced cards still doesn't account for much as far as the quality of what you are getting.... as long as the board is happy, right. :banghead: (middle finger emoticon if I could)

Glad I decided to wait a few days to update my drivers.

From release to problems, with the latest cards at that. in under 24 hours ..
with drivers like these who needs enemies?

Umm, whelp I downloaded it but have not had an issue yet (Albeit, I am only playing BF1 and League of Legends at the moment).

Either way things happen so as long as they fix it in a timely manner, not the end of the world. Though next time certain users claim AMD drivers are bad and unreliable, think I will just point them this way LOL.

Seems we are all just using hotfix drivers these days. >.<

The only issues I had:

When starting up a game the GFE shadowplay overlay didn't work, a reinstall of GFE solved this.
For some reason after driver installation my gadgets won't load up on the desktop when I start up my computer, have to start it manually.

Besides this didn't noticed any other things, at least GTA V runs as usual.

#GeforceExperience xD

My GTX980ti rig is having driver issues, my girlfriends RX470 rig is running fine.

Thanks Donald >.>

These things happen from both sides, gents. Simply uninstall and roll back if you happened to DL them. Wait for the hotfix or the next drivers. :)
But of course, what else ... nevertheless I feel these things would happen less often if they stop pushing their nightly builds as WHQL, I can't remember the last time I saw beta drivers from Nvidia ... remember the ancient tradition of beta testing that is supposed to squash these bugs?

Looks like NVIDIA have stormed into the kwality drivers game.

I haven't tried playing a game yet since installing it with wild abandon the minute it came out yesterday, so I can't report any 3D problems. It is however working fine on the desktop with dual monitors. :)

GPU drivers seem to follow game-development.
Rush a halfassed product and fix it later...

That is interesting... I thought we weren't seeing any because you had to click at their website to see them... they're not any there at all. :shadedshu: o_O

Couldn't have said it better myself. :) Except for the GFE part, I like it. :D

I wonder what's causes all these recent issues. Is Nvidia doing big rewrites, are they trying something new or is it something else?
But of course, news sites cannot be expected to care about the root cause. Sensationalism will do.

lol, I literally downloaded the drivers last night and was about to install but didn't because it was late and I was really tired.
I'll give these a miss then I guess...

No problem here. I only play BF1.

Not that I'm aware of ... I suppose those hotfix builds they post on the forums are from the beta branch in the source control, but it seems it's completely internal beta

im so glad i dont update my drivers often. is it just me or the "legendary" "nvidia drivers are always perfect" bs is just that, bs. with the resources they command, this is just pathetic.

No issues here, though im only playing Witcher 3 and Xenoverse 2 lately, Doom Vulkan runs slower now vs older drivers, though some kepler GPUs received a massive boost i hear on recent drivers.
