Very Serious!Bad flash ati radeon 9800 pro,what to do?

Hello

I have a Serious problem!!!i am very sad.

I have a Gigabyte ati 9800 pro.I decided to flash its bios so i can make it a 9800 XT.

So this is what happend

1)backed up the bios
2)flashed the new bios succesfully
3)didnt like the new bios so i flashed the backup again.

Till now everything is o.k.

4)Found a new bios,edited the clocks,and flashed it again to a 9800XT
5)No picture!!!!
6)Found a Pci Card,flashed the card with the backup.

And since then i have a picture but it is with fat yellow lines,and it seems my card is soooo damaged.I dont know what to do.

I would appriciate if someone knows for sure my card is perminatly damages so i can get out of my misery.Also if i return the card to the store i bought it,is my guarantee good(the original bios is in)

Anyways,

I have been flashing the bios like 20 times with different bios's but all of them have yellow lines.What to do?

I just flashed it again with a club3d bios,for a while it looked a little better ,but then when i changed the refresh rate,it became crap again.

Also you guys didnt tell me,atleast if i put the old bios the card had,do i have a guarantee?Will they fix it or give me a new card?

What do you think about the picture?

ok i see.Thanks for putting me out of my mysery,but still, i know i have a 3 year guarantee,will they accept the card?it is now with its normal bios.

Then go for it. The main thing that they look for is heatsink tampering.

say you talked to some hillbilly support guy who told you that you should flash the bios, using a tool called ATI flash, wich made sense sinse the mobo had ati chipset or something..

just make up a plausible story, and remember to play stupid *important*

Just tell em you were playing F.E.A.R and it died. They can even check out the fear forums, there have been several reported cases of the 9800 getting fried while playing it.

That was what it looked like with my GeCube 9800PRO-->XT. Fried that sucker. When i just took out the cooler, it couldn't even run. I unsoldered everythhing and played with it. Try it if you dont wanna RMA =X
