i am happy with my currently system so no upgrade to Sandy or Bulldozer, only think i actually wants his a bigger Maximus board with more PCI ports ^^;

i'm really hoping bulldozer is decent. i'm not to worried if it doesnt beat sandybridge or not. i just hope its a contender. i like to cheer on the underdog, and quite frankly. i've never owned an AMD rig, and i'd like to.

still running a q9550 @ 4.0 and could use an upgrade.

I voted no cpu upgrade.
So far all my games so far run perfectly fine on my desktop system - E8400 @ 4Ghz, 4GB DDR-2, 5970 and 2560x1440.

So I'll try to hold back the benchmark itch

One game I have to get though next November is Skyrim. If that results to be so cpu-intensive that I need an upgrade (I'm pretty sure it won't)... sadly enough I'd certainly do so. Otherwise, I'll keep on playing the waiting game..

I hope bulldozer is all its cracked up to be as I really do prefer AMD. But I just couldnt resist the price to performance ratio of the i5 2500k. I have a feeling that it will out perform amd's best bulldozer offerings.

Looking for Ivy .. hoping for sandy drop .. need pc now! BF3, Path Of Exile, Skyrim, Red Orchestre 2(preordered). ATM I only got an HP Elitebook 8530p(4 gigs) <-- All this is bothering me. Mostly all the great upcoming games.
looking for 2500k + 8 Gb of 1600 Mhz ram + GTX580(looking for drop but think its not gonna happen for me to play Red Orchestra 2 at launch and I need that. So Invidia STFU and take my money) + some 2 x 500 GB HDD, later a 1TB for data.
I'm thinking SLi + TRI-SLi over the coming 15 months. <- Sounds like a good f.ing idea for a good f.ing performing game destroyer WITH LONGEVITY

A year ago I bought Antec P183 and Antec CP-850 (850W) but never got savings enough for the performing parts, so now i'm rather excited to do these parts justice

Waiting for post BD after the report of them doing a socket change. Got a feeling BD will be a stopgap till PD. Likely just enough performance to keep AMD around till PD. Same as the current APUs. Not bad performance but clearly not there yet.

while i eagerly await the BD reviews i'm going to wait till end of 2012/early 2013 to do a cpu upgrade.

seeing as i just got this cpu, Phenom II X4 920, i probably won't upgrade anything in sept. unless i find a 5770 or 5850 cheap somewhere, but my friend might. we're still waiting to see how BD performs in reviews before we decide on what we're building him lol. (he's buying parts, i'll be putting it together)

I hope BD lives up to the hype, though I didn't actually edit for the reason I said. I edited the word "has" out of and into the post. Nevertheless, poetic flow was at stake here, though the 2500K is a good alternative if BD's not up to scratch, Bruce. It does sound sound to wait for BD reviews before deciding.
