Single Evga GTX 780 Ti with Heatkiller nickel plated waterblock ... What else ? ...

Only a dual GTX 980 GPU or :DVolta :D can make me think to buy a new GFX.

Because my 1440p monitor is a bit of challenge for the 780 ti ...

I'm waiting for a 20nm Radeon (R9 390X or equivalent), Windows 10, and DDR4 (Skylake or Haswell-E)

I'm sticking with my 570s for now. I plan on saving up and working on modding a new computer build next spring/summer. The 570s, while a bit power hungry when compared to the 970s, still get the work done for my needs.

Not buying until my 6GB Titan actually feels slow @ 1920x1200 ... which is going to be a while, fortunately. 16 more months at least. I want 3 years out of my $999 purchase.

Sticking with my 290s for now. Gotta find an affordable way to cool them  Sli 980s is my 4K dream thou.

I've been well served by my 7970. Sure it's not as power efficient but then again I only turn on this rig to play games for a handful of hours per week so that point is somewhat moot.

Just got my 270X in july, and it's doing wonderful, in fact my only short term upgrade option is to get a second one and crossfire them, as it would still be cheaper than other options.

Just got a MSI GTX 970 4G and it's absolutely superb, whisper quiet whilst being ape shit fast.... love it. :toast:

Poll is a bit out as I have actually already made my purchase got 2x Gigabyte G1 GTX 970 in SLI. Was tempted to go for a 980 but twin 970 is only a bit more in cost but much better so it seems a no brainer really.

Unless i find the money for a 4k screen, my HD7950 will have to do for at least another 6 months.

i have 22" 1680*1050 and i wait the new GTX 970 8 gb version i think the new games like the witcher 3 is more powerfull !

Currently have a GTX 690 and wont go 4K soon unless nVidia out a really good single GPU solution that can do 4K reasonably well and 4K displays are under $400,no upgrades for me :(

i never try 4k i think it's marketing but when i play with 22" 1680*1050 ration 16:10 for me , ithink it's very nice resolution with gtx 970 8 gb , shadow of mordor consume in full hd 4 gb Vram , i think when the witcher 3 com out in february no comment for vram consommation !!!! :p

I've been with AMD/ATi for sometime now, but well I dropped $900 on a monitor and a GTX 970 after being impressed over every single aspect of the card, and having the privilege of watching g-sync in action. That's bad were I support AMD for being the underdog, and they do a fantastic job of being the underdog. when the underdog literately gets beat in everything it's kinda hard to stay loyal.

I haven't had a NVIDIA card for almost 10 years. Sorry AMD hopefully next time guys.

Don' be sorry, it's a competitive market and as much as AMD like to play the underdog it also gets old real quick. Equally plenty of people here will lap up their BS, so take comfort in that as you enjoy the big meanie Nv experience.

NVidia should end marketing gimmicks from GPU OEM's, Most of the so called 980 "models" are bizarre concoctions some with 2 x 8 pin power plug when the most over fanned and overclocked card are never going to draw more than 200W, NVidia should have limited cards to 2 x 6 pin a length of no more than 260mm/10 1/4 inches and 2 slot width..
EVGA have managed to live within those limits so why can't the others.

I finally had one too many issues with my 7870 GHz Ed card and bought a GTX 970. With stock voltage I achieved a +150 core overclock and +250 on the Hynix memory.

1491MHz Actual Boost
7.6GHz Memory clock

Still satisfied with my HD6670 DDR3 and not swimming in $$$ anyways.

Another GTX680 propably, these are pretty damn cheap when buying used ones.

No plans at the moment,.. the whole GPU industry needs to make some tremendous achievement, towards cheaper high end GPUs full of all impotent features that people care about eg the 10bit full support on all consumer GPUs specifically Intel and Geforce, i hear AMD does support this on all GPUs they offer for sometime now, the H265 hardware support and obvious great performance for gaming at UHD with a single GPU.

The only way ill purchase a new GPU anytime soon is if it's completely necessary or impulse buying i don't know why,.. or an incredibly sweet deal. Otherwise no plans for now.

i am happy bit my msi gtx 970 gaming, so it's not going anywhere, maybe i will change cpu, mobo and memory when Skylake comes...

24% of voters are either very upset or will be soon...

gg nvidia, gg

Nope, it's been clarified and I'm perfectly happy with the answer, troll away though.

its been clarified?

they have basically said, yea we sell it as a 4gb card but only 3.5gb is worth using...

now if anyone is trolling anyone it's nvidia trolling their customers.

GPU depends on when I plan on new build. Sticking with Nvidia!!!
