What case would you recommend? Mid tower that holds 12 3.5" drives?

I currently have the the Cooler master CM690 II (mid tower) which comfortably holds about 8 3.5" drives and the cooler master Cosmos II which with a little modification comfortably holds about 16 3.5" drives. I'm looking for a case that isn't as tall as the CM Cosmos II (and has more modern front ports) but holds about 12 3.5" drives. I need 12TB drives so I won't be using 2.5" drives. I do not have the space for external storage arrays - I need to replace my CM690 II models with a different case that holds a few more drives.

Thanks - height wise that would work. I am a little concerned about cooling on the 4 bottom drives in the back of the case but otherwise that might work.

Thanks - I'm looking at the supermicro S5 SI Edition Titanium Black - hard to find anything with USB type C on the front still.

Fractal Design Vector RS is said to house 11, but it appears you do not get enough sleds to do so.

I do question the need for that many drives....raid arrays, a huge scratch disk?
I only ask, as it seems you could grab a NAS if these are deep storage drives, and they can be tiny compared to a mid-tower.

I'd like to know the answer to this question as well. 12 drives is a lot and you almost never see a setup like that outside of servers, so I'm very curious to know about the intended use. 12 drives is pushing it, even for Supermicro pedestal chassis. You really almost need a 2U or 4U server chassis for something like that. At least that way, you know the chassis is intended to cool that many drives. Not to mention hot-swappable bays are nice to have when you have a ton of drives.

Those are the ones I actually have I just was too lazy to find the link to those  I have like four of them, they are all USB3.0 only though.

Sorry - my comment about the height was a mistake - the maximum height would be 20 inches.

I think I'l go with the FRACTAL DESIGN DEFINE R6 USB C - which supports 11 3.5" drives ( you have to buy 5 additional sleds at about $6 each)
