There were issues last week as well that we were facing for several clients who's servers were hosted within Comcast's networks. I've heard there are some "routing issues" but no clarity beyond that.

Looks like most of the major areas for Comcast service are having trouble today:

I haven't seen any public reports from them, and so far not too many of our clients are affected as what occurred last week. Hoping they can get it resolved for all that are affected.

Yeah, In FL was down half the day yesterday and been sporadic all week.

I didnt think anything was up... i mean with comcast we have outages all of the time over here. Thought it was just comcast being comcast.

Crazy to have outages in huge clusters like that though.

Coworker of mine has had issues in the last two months with Comcast service. Maybe the "cap data" button is next to "screw with service" button.

According to CNBC (owned by Comcast), there were a couple - reportedly unrelated - major fiber cuts on their backbone network that took out service to a bunch of their Internet, voice and video (cable TV) customers across the nation. The cables (or two separate cuts on the same cable??? - the report was not clear) are part of an infrastructure connecting several other providers too.
