What is the reason Xbox PC Game Pass doesn't disclose dates when the game will leave the game pass library?

This is in no way different from playing a game on steam, there is no distinction i can see.
There is a difference, on game pass you're paying subscription to access the catalogue of games that are available on the service. That catalogue is subject to change by service provider. On steam there is no monthly subscription fee, you pay for access to individual games from the catalogue of games listed on Steam. If game is unlisted from Steam you can still have it linked to your account and you can still play it, if game exits game pass you no longer have access to it.
MS Store games are more similar to Steam games.

Hi,
Yep subscription you play what they allow you to play at that time

I personally find no use for such restricted services
Between epic free games and steam and a couple others blood soaked violence is actually easily found for free and I buy the ones I like so I don't need other subscription services telling me what is "trendy" to play.

you compared it to cinema, i was talking about the experience, not the gaming in itself. Cinema is not the same as a movie at home. Gaming as an experience at steam or gamepass is the same.

This is why I use Humble Choice. It is a Sub service that gives you Steam keys for the cost. The kicker is the Game must be 75% positive user reviews for each Game. For $13 you really get to build an impressive Arcade. Sometimes I go onto the Steam store just to watch videos on Games I don't have. I remember watching Shadow Tactics and thinking I would like to play that. I was going to buy it on sale on Steam but I checked my Humble and the Game was in one of the bundles from like 2020. I saw that there is a DLC added for that Game that is now in November's Humble Choice that I was looking at too. I was excited for Game Pass but that Forza 7 experience was not cool. Just like Epic, Game Pass (for me) is not worth the price of admission once you get through the front door. GOG gets some love too for having Games that don't work on Steam (Crysis) working smooth as butter and no stupid DRM.

Not just that it's not the same, it's miles, miles apart.
Steam is awesome, but digitally, GOG is the best way to buy a game.

What do you mean? There's "Leaving gamepass soon" on main Xbox dashboard.

This is still very vague... unless exact dates are given. Especially if I am about to start a 50+ hour game...

That's what I was asking, are there exact dates, and now that you have showed me I now understand. They only show dates on the leaving soon items, so that does help me in that now I can decide what I want to and not want to play. I do wish they offered it for all their games, but this does help, thanks.

Not sure why you feel the need to cuss and talk down to people, but hey, thanks and have a good day bud.

Thread ended, thanks all.
