What is your fav games console ?

I think I only owned one console in my life....was gifted from my parents when I was 5th grade or so.....the venerable in Eastern Europe.....Terminator 2!

It's a Famiclone. China's stuff, but many of us had one. Super Spy Hunter/ Kickmaster/ Batman returns.....that was top notch entertainment. I still love the soundtracks of these titles.

Note he's talking about a clone of the SNES mini, not the actual SNES mini version.
I have an actual SNES-mini and it's fine. ;)

There are folks that have managed to load it with alot more games than it originally came with - I know the mini-NES version has been done to the point every NES game that's ever been released can be loaded into one of those and while I want to say it's the same with the SNES version, I'm not 100% sure that's the case.
Mine BTW has not been modified at all, just as it was out of the box to this day.
I get you there Bones :)

I am not really a console person, having been a PC gamer since the early 1990s, but I did have a famiclone at some point, a PS1, a PS3 and own a Switch. The Playstation3 is my favorite. I still play it to this day.

i had an nes. i bought my kids a wii. i know i played a lot more nes but those guitar hero games on the wii were pretty fun.

I've never cared about consoles, but playing Mortal Kombat and Tekken with my brother on the PS2, or Battle City with my dad on the NES brings back sweet memories.

Specifically, the CECHA01 PlayStation 3. I refuse to even acknowledge the other inferior models and curse Sony to this day for becoming an unscrupulous garbage company in every sense of the word.

I pretty much grew up on the PS2 and PS3, so those are my favorites. I'd say the PS3 is my all-time favorite.

Throughout my childhood, I loved playing Simpsons: Hit and Run and the Burnout series on the PS2.

When we got a PS3 in 2009, it was all Burnout Paradise and LittleBigPlanet.

did you not have a rental store for games in your town? i remember renting a lot of my ps2 games from a local store, 5 bucks for a week i think it was usually. good times indeed

We had (and still have) pretty decently sized game collections for those systems; those were just the games I enjoyed the most.

We used to have two GameStops in my area if memory serves, along with a Blockbuster and a Hastings. Out of all of those, only one GameStop is still open.

this is my second favorite. I remember for my bday in highschool my Dad sent my gba to some place and they installed a backlight in it. man it helped a lot. Metroid Fusion, mega man battle network, those were some happy times for young me. what were your fav games on it?

N64.

GoldenEye, Perfect Dark... Mario Kart 64... 4 player splitscreen. Best gaming times ever.

So what do you think of the mini Amiga 500 and the c64 maxi Lex ? o_O I don,t really know much about SNES o_O
They seem kinda cool. I was never very familiar with the Amiga or Commodore line of PCs, so I can not offer an informed opinion.

However, given the amount of love both of those have had from the community they were marketed toward and price on offer, I say you're very likely to enjoy them and get your money's worth from them.

Personally, I would lean more toward the Amiga than the C64, but that's just me. I was always more interested in the Amiga.

Probably between the Saturn and the PlayStation 3 - Demon's Souls was a revelation, and I loved Armoured Core 4/5/For Answer, but I had a weird fascination with the Saturn. Nights and the original Wipeout were amazing at the time.

I had a lot of fun with a modded PS1.

I liked the Sega Genesis, Saturn and PS1. I think PS1 was my favorite though. N64 was good but only a few titles I liked on it. Saturn was too short lived.

I've always been more into the PC/computer side of things but for me it has to be the PS2.

SNES and the PS2 would be my two favs from all the consoles Ive played over the 40yrs followed by the RARE CD32
