.. and is it important for you to run a higher refresh rate?

144Hz was great for CSGO and LoL, and absolutely nothing else. Went back to 60Hz for everything else.

CRT and Plasmas all my life so 120hz..

60hz gives me a headache :(

i game at the normal 60hz, on either one or dual monitor depends on what i am doing.

Can only get a 2560x1600 resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate so that is what I choose. I could be wrong...

Ever since I got my new monitor I just leave it @85 Hz for everything (either it’s me or 60hz started feeling slow )
And if I remembered before running a game I change it to 144Hz

60Hz Asus PA246 IPS screen - I'm not playing shooter games so I'd rather have a good image quality as long as the g2g latency is still ok. I would never trade in a good IPS screen for 120hz. Never.

120Hz here, with other normally 60Hz screens "OC-ed" to 75Hz.
More hertz is just a bigger temporal resolution and for me does a lot for fluency, both in normal desktop usage(even though not all applications support it) and games.

60Hz, but i can overclock my monitor to 90Hz i dont realy see a difference while i game, so i leave it at 60 with vsync.

120hz only now. I will reduce graphical settings in an attempt to hit 120 frames per second. Clarity of motion makes for a much better experience for me than some extra tesselated wall textures or super detailed shadows etc.

Although when I can enable all the candy and still have 120 fps, then I am a happy camper.

Made the move to 1440p IPS panel that is overclockable and those are sublime. Having some issues with mine atm but once I fix it back up it will be my new standard.

60 as that is all my monitor will do, seems good enough to me.

Well I run at 60Hz but that is not a voluntary choice - it is only because that is the fastest my monitor goes, as I'm sure would be the case for most people.

I cannot vote because the vote itself is technically invalid - yes I game at 60Hz but I do not want to.

Higher refresh rate ARE important to me - and I would love to play at a better rate but I simply cant afford faster equipment.

I am quite exited about this new nVidia nSync concept but only time will really tell how well that works out....

Nvidia and justin timberlake team up to make gaming a better experience. *shudders*

60Hz is good enough for types of games I play ... but there is one game, The Secret World, for which I set driver to half refresh rate adaptive vsync to have constant fps, silent gpu and most importantly, to keep maximum eye candy at the same time (damn you beautiful tessellation). Motion blur helped.
In other games I go for constant 60fps ... and I use adaptive vsync whenever I can.

I'm waiting for a 120hz 1440p <5ms 27" IPS monitor.... I'm not keen on getting a Korean monitor and overclocking it. Not confident enough for it.

The monitor is actually skipping the extra frames, giving results that are worse than the native 60Hz, don't overclock a Dell IPS monitor.

I have a U2713HM monitor so 2560X1440 @ 60Hz
At work a have a 120Hz Acer 23.5" monitor

Is there a way to verify that ? it could explain why i dont see a difference.

120Hz blur-free with LightBoost on and low lag.

Waay better than laggy and blurry 60Hz.

Can we please have an option that's "Custom between 72hz and 100hz"?

Is not waaay better, I have tested. Actually I find it to work a little better if you have games like CS or ME that can output more than 120fps. For games on the 50-70 fps, like I am gaming, it was absolutely NO difference.

120 Hz is overrated. It's nice, but not as nice as higher resolution. And higher resolution is only available at 60 Hz (standard... I know some 1440p models are capable of custom higher refresh rates).

The difference in gameplay between 60 and 120 Hz is all placebo effect unless you are one of the top FPS players in the world.

I've used both, and while 120 Hz ruins 60 Hz and 1440p+ ruins 1080p, the effect of increased resolution is more significant than the effect of increased refresh rate to me. The only time I could see 120 Hz being better than higher resolution is if you are one of those folks who can get headaches/nausea/etc from 60 Hz gameplay.

60 Hz seems fine to me. I use a 42" 1080p TV as a monitor, primarily because my actual monitor broke, but also I stare at a close up monitor all day at work, so it gives my eyes a rest to use a large TV screen positioned further away. Although it does mean I have to have a rather large computer desk LOL!

Can play most games quite decently at around 20 fps, so I don't have any need for high hertz monitor.
