What res u game in? is 1280x1024 to low?

i play at 1920X1200 on a 24" screen and couldnt look back

In fact if i could go bigger i would.

Only disadvantage is that you need serious processor / gfx power to play new games at this res... so prepare to spend money if going for this res

thought i may as well do it now ! & yes just a tiny tweak on the focus control has brought it back pin sharp at 1600x1200@75htz

yea i'm the same, i can run up to 1680x1050, but one day when playin CSS i lowered it to 1280x1024(zombie mod maps lag me) and then i switched to a regular server and i played better, so CSS at 1280x1024 instead of 1680x1050. Then course UT3 i have to play at 1280x1024 cause my GPU

Well i'm happy with 1600x1200 for time being. My system seems to run crysis & cod:waw smooth enough at that res. Mind you its all overclocked a fair bit.

the HD 4850 is enough at 1280x1024, the Hd 4870 only seems to offer a slightly higher min fps(1 or 2) which is what matters in crysis/cry warhead.

I actually prefer a lower res to my native res.

Native = 1400x900

I like 1200x800 ( or around that)
