I'm not sure

Controllers feel really bad in my hands

Both are equally comfortable to me.

What I prefer to use depends on what I'm playing. FPS games and RTS games definitely use a keyboard+mouse. Racing games and games with a lot of driving(GTA:V) I prefer a controller.

kb+m for accuracy and greater button availability and assignment, joypad for comfort, familiarity and vibration

I may be biased towards joypad tho, grew up on ps1,2 and n64 and on pc once I held x360 that was it never looked back. So unless a game specifically demands it like me series its x360 for me.

For true relaxing and playing with friends on a Sofa nothing beats a wireless Controller , easy to pick up, easy to understand , easy to handle.
But for precision and work related stuff always keyboard+Mouse.
I sometimes just catch myself reaching for my old school SNES controller and lean back to chill on my PC playing some old school games.

depend on the game, mostly KB/M but i also play a lot with a Xbox One controller ... and that's by far the best console controller usable on PC ever ...

just bought a 2m Otterbox cable for the controller (can be bluetooth or with the bundled dongle but i am fine wired my sofa is not that far )

Depends to be honest..
If I'm planning Call of duty I want my keyboard but if I'm racing on Dirt or fighting in Mortal Kombat I want my controller.

You shut really also consider a third choice like "it depends on what type of game i play".

Because as i can see others does, for me it really comes down to what type of game i play (keyboard/mouse or controller both feels good in my hand). For FPS games like battlefield and far cry or strategy games like "starcraft" keyboard + mouse for sure, while racing games like "need for speed" and fighting games like "mortal kombat" i prefer a controller. So i have both for my pc gaming.

Depends .... Im useless w/a controller. My kids use both depending on the game they are playing. games where you can stack moves fro greater effect generally favor controllers.

gamepad (on the left hand, up to 4 axes + 7 buttons, depending on the gamepad) and mouse (right hand, as much buttons your mouse has to offer)

This has been my combo since 1994.

"just when you think you've seen it all, there's always someone coming with something you didn't think was possible/viable"

game pad for me, wrist and hand problems stops me using a keyboard and mouse for any longer than a few minutes.

Seems like you answered your own question. Point is - only you can decide.
I knew the answer to my question, I was asking other people. I like mouse, just asking if anyone likes controllers for fun

This reminded me to order another controller for MK11.. LoL
I figured I should go into a little more detail as not every controller works for every game...
I use a PlayStation style controller for fighting games... But it has to have independent D-pad Buttons and not a top-hat type
I use an Xbox style controller for racing

I even prefer chiclet style Keyboards (Razer Black widow, Deathstalker) to play FPS games

I don't really think about what's comfortable. I just pick the best tool for the task. M&K for shooters, RTS/TBS and a controller for racing games and platformers. I don't play many fighting games but controller would be best there as well.

I use mouse and keyboard and then for driving games I often use a PS3 controller and the SCP-DS3-Driver-Package-1.0.0.103 which allows it to operate with the XBox controller drivers.

Some games just cannot be played very well with Mouse/KB, and that is when I prefer controller; Sekiro is a good, recent example of that. In all others, KB for sure. Its funny though, when I hooked up the PS3 dualshock to my PC, I really did notice higher input lag in a way I never experienced it on the console. There's a real gap in responsiveness going to a controller from mouse/Kb.

If its about comfortable in the sense of 'relaxing' then definitely controller. Couch gaming is hard to beat... I just feel sooooooo slooow with a controller. Analog sticks are hell once you get used to mouselook.

Mouse and keyboard.

Also, can tell you are 12 lol, you have posted about a bazillion threads in a minute.
Ha I was thinking the exact same thing, like give others a chance too  but OT I prefer and voted KB/M but would like a controller maybe for some driving sims and a few other games not many. Mainly into FPS.

my hands start to cramp after an hour or so with a controller so mouse and keyb all the way. Also my favorite games are FPS or RPGs so...

Ill mash through an occasional racing game on the keyboard.

VR only does controllers but they look a bit more comfortable - maybe joysticks for a vr flight sim.

For me it depends on type of game, any shooter (Even GTA V) and i prefer keyboard and mouse. I do find myself using my PS4 controller for more and more RPGs these days, like Witcher and Dragon Age.

You just wanna sit on sofa and play with your friends and have fun nothing beats controllers , you wanna break records and kick some a$$es nothing beats keyboard and a mouse , for me i just hate controllers , it's because i never owned a console , i was raised with computers (and tbh i'm so glad) , actually , i play even PES and FIFA using keyboard! (i know i know that's gay).

Also, can tell you are 12 lol, you have posted about a bazillion threads in a minute.
Asking is good.

All depends on the game, I don't bother with normal TV so use the PC as a quasi-media center with KB/M for FPS's and Xbox controller for everything that doesn't need accuracy or stuff like racing games, GTAV type stuff or the Trials series etc.

K&M for RTS and FPS and the controller for any genre's game made for it.

General use and most of my games on Kb/M.
GTA V both controller (xbox) and Kb/M
Monster Hunter most of the time kb/M but when I need that "walk" from analog sticks Xbx
Lastly, Arcade games, fighting games (SFV, Tekken 7, MK, etc.) - Arcade stick.

Never get tired of the kb/M set up but need to stretch and relax the wrists/arms/hands every hour or two.
As for controllers grew up with consoles too so sometimes I get cramps for playing more than 2 hours (depends if the game is intense or just chill)

I don't know in what universe a keyboard and mouse is more comfortable than a controller but I am going to guess most people answered this based simply on what they use most of the time.
