Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
I mean, if I wanted to upgrade my boot SSD (maybe to a 2TB WD SN850X or Corsair MP600 Pro LPX), my GPU has to come out. Same with plugging in more SATA devices, which I have plans to do eventually.

Although, with those specific SSDs, I don't know if the board's built-in SSD cooling would be adequate. Removing that would probably help with access to the PCIe lock.
yep i got the same issues (Red Devil RX 6700 XT ) when i swapped my 2 M2 SSD last time, it's not the lock fault ... it's the monster that goes in the slot fault
it cover the release latch so well that i thought i ripped off something on the mobo when i slipped with my iFixit screw(me)driver ... luckily nope ... just a scratch on the latch :D

Not really worth taking a picture from, but my last tech purchase was a LG-GDR 8164B DVD ROM Drive from 2007.
Black front, IDE/PATA model. Bought cheap from a Recycling Store.

Since i have a lot of Retro PC's, i like to have some spare parts. I also try to make them period correct when possibe. Lets say when i have a CPU from 2001, i try to get the rest of the part also from 2000 to lets say 2003/2004. So that its in de upgrade path of that period

also need one 8 pin pcie (why? this is just a 75w card)
Because the Asrock factory clock boost setting will push above that 75W PCIe limit. It could have done fine with a 6pin. Perhaps the 8pin connector was less expensive in bulk orders?

I’ll probably return it
Why? Seriously, keep it. It will last you a long time!

My wife buying anything like that for me is a pipe dream.

I remember back when the 2080ti came out my wife asked me if I was going to buy one and I said it was kinda expensive and she told me not to be a little B!+ch. Now I just buy whatever lol

I have been with my wife for 20 years...she is more ate up with this stuff than me...been a great time with having her into the same thing... once we went into Fry's and bought 4 Titan X cards for us both to SLI...I couldn't get her there fast enough.

Yes, great temps! Not sure where you live, but we get higher temps soon here in Europe..

I am in europe, and I am also planing on when getting some more cash to buy Noctua's NA-FH1 fan hub my current board doesn't have enough fan headers and the Fractal Design hub in the case ain't controlable.

Man it feels weird to have again a full-sized keyboard after using almost 1½ years a 60% one. Takes a day or two until I learn to type with this properly

once you go 65% or less you never should go back!!!!!!

eherm ... i say that but i had to buy a BT numpad for some specific uses ... luckily it's not 100% of the time i need a numpad ... lets say ... 2% of the time ...

i like the Vulcan tho ...

maybe that one if it did not had the centered cable ... actually i don't fancy the chiclet style keycaps ... once you go front engraved legend you never should go .... yaddah yaddah et caetera :p

bah! i will probably keep my DK440R for quite a while ;)

ohhhhh ... sale induced buy ... i am also weak to that ... my DK440R was 120ish chf got it for 65... (which was same price as a wired "inferior" model from Deltaco, the DK440R is wired/RF/BT ) a bit pricier, i am almost ashamed

i see a sale i jump ... just like a cat with the "if i fit i sit" trend

I wouldn't classify the XFX Speedster Mer310 as better it's a 2.5slot card but damn it can make the other Nidec 120mm (Adata XPG branded) fans in my case run louder, so I have under volted the card to 1.010V with 40mins of GTA V gameplay no issue and fan speed at 50% with zero rpm mode on and I can tolerate it.

I think it's one of my better deals the card is not even 3months old only lacking the outer XFX branded box but the inner box is fine with form materials and every thing and the z-bracket is missing doe but over all yeah it's a good price.

Who cares about the boxes, mate?
What matters is to know what you're buying.
I don't like the 7900XT at 799 or even at 699£. But at 570, I would buy it, over my 4080 easily, and call it a day.

The compromises of this card are irrelevant at this price.

i recently bought a rx 480, as an upgrade for my previous r7 240. it is a heck of a lot better.
That's a great price and very capable 1080p card. Love the reference design of those cards as well.

Who cares about the boxes, mate?
What matters is to know what you're buying.
I don't like the 7900XT at 799 or even at 699£. But at 570, I would buy it, over my 4080 easily, and call it a day.

The compromises of this card are irrelevant at this price.
That's arguement really, and i don't know why but I never really had a card with bad coilwhine either no matter if it's new or second handed I guess I am just the lucky one and I cannot stand coilwhine my dad had a router back in the day with massive coilwhine so everytime I visit him I had a headache not being there for a couple of mins.

Well I would sell this variant for a profit if I tried and than go with another model but that's something for the future.

It was on Gigantti. A store which sells computer hardware as consumer electronics as well. :)
