Note: There is no CAN-BUS. People are stupid.

I bought W5W LED bulbs for my car. I expect that those will fit. If they work I will have to unsolder the "CAN-BUS stupidity" resistor to reduce the power consumption.
I'm well aware of ALI-Express. They offers similar products. I bought it because of the amount of led and lumen rating. It's also easier to return the stuff later maybe to amazon.de when problematic in the next 1 year and 11 months. I also wanted bulbs which are rated up to 24 V direct current.

interesting....where do you use these? tail lights?

Canbus is a communication protocol. This has nothing to do with bulbs.

These are good bulbs. I do not know how long they will last / work in my use case. They even have 4 diodes for a bridge retifier on them and a coil. the pcb is not really accessable to read the surface mount device numbers. It seems there is even a fixed current regulartor on it.

I’m aware of canbus. Here in Canada we usually use incandescent or halogen bulbs in tail lights to keep the snow melted off and prevent getting rear ended.

are the front fans blocked off by glass?

From top, the sides and under airflow is possible.
And also air comes from the middle in the front, where you see the striped holes

The Escher front is messing with my brain
It did with mine too when i first see it But the line in the top to bottom is in the middle
The side with the logo is going to that middle line
The glass goes too, but stops a little earlier, so the holes are made there, and has a little triangle in the top

Recent Purchase & RMA takebacksy since they couldn't repair my old one.

My first dip into OLED (for a monitor) & Ultrawide. Colours, reaction times & blacks are awesome. The purple from direct light in videos is greatly exaggerated (by [phone] cameras, not necessarily intentional) Still you lose some contrast with direct light.

Also my first 4k Monitor, the crispness of text is really good (I am using it as the secondary one)

1745522222882.png

4k is f*king huge (i always underestimate how much much pixel it has)

Also rip the idle wattage of my system
1745522363530.png

RMA was pretty smooth... so thanks MSI(Europe)!

(Timeline for those who are interested: Sended the RMA in -> Arrived 10 days later at the MSI facility -> heard back 7 days later they could not repair it in time & gave me an offer for an Exchange and I accepted it-> Shipped it 2 Days later -> Arrived 6 days later on my door step)

One of these (the USB-C to C and USB-C to A cables were missing when it arrived, Sabrent said they should be able to send me some): Amazon.com: SABRENT USB 3.2 Type C M.2 PCIe NVMe + 2.5/3.5 Inch SSD & HDD Converter [DS-UCMH] : Electronics

Some of this after reading the test results on Igor'sLab (2nd best after DOWSIL TC-5888 and I can't find it in small quantities anywhere): Amazon.com: Kooling Monster KOLD-01, High Performance Silicone Thermal Paste for Cooling All CPU/Heatsinks, Silicone Paste Designed for Easy Spreading, Inc. Gloves & Cleaning Wipes, No Odor (2.1ml/5.4g) : Electronics

I had my 2nd cancer surgery this morning and needed new things to play with while recovering. With the Sabrent docking station I can do direct cloning of HDD's and SATA solid state drives to NVMe drives without software or even a PC needed. I've got a few rigs in the upgrade state that'll come in extremely handy for.

i really recommend trying to save up a little bit more money and just wait on the gpu, use integreated graphics until you can find a better deal. 7800 xt is just a bit long in the tooth already. FSR4 is he future and will give life to the new generation of cards for many years to come, cheaper FSR4 cards are on the way, prob by early summer.

An upside down key cap glued to a piece of leather double sided tape of course probably glued to the gpu back holding in the small m.2 ssd?? ;)

Bought a Intel AX210 M.2 WiFi card since I had to repurpose my powerline adapter for a different room.
But I was also a plonker that I didn't pay the extra for the WiFi version of the motherboard.
Took a nice 2 hours of my time since I had to install the antenna wiring as well.
Also bought a tiny anti-sag stand for the 9070XT, despite the 9070XT doesn't really sag that much.

There is always a point where you have to make the trade-off. I could just keep waiting for what is yet to come, but that will always come with higher prices.
I would be better off waiting for the prices of the GPUs yet to come to drop, so that I don't end up paying top dollar for them.
