Flak aside I voted RTX performance. I strongly believe in the feature/future. Everything else is secondary.
I's hard to even justify that, because it just seem more like brute forcing raytracing than increasing effiency of it

The 4K performance at that power efficiency is impressive to me. I might still pass on it because of absolute power consumption, price, and DP2 (or lack of), but I'm glad the thing exists, if for no other reason than to provide a target for future GPUs.

Their size..
Size isn't everything. It's the way you use it that matters. :p

By the way, what impressed me the most is this:

How the actual f*** is this oversized POS sold out already?

The price. And not in a good way.

Energy Efficiency.
Not for 4090 itself but as indicator for the low tiers 4050\4060 that, contrary to 4090, can be a real buy option in some point.

I suggest another poll vote:

Which RTX 4090 Feature imdepressed you the most?

I'm most impressed by how their determination to win allows them to set almost whatever price they want. And be called efficient at extreme power consumption because it's fastest. For the most part to play some console games a little bit better.

I was expecting an inefficient power hog design from the leaks. The actual reviews have impressed me with how efficient the 4090 can be with a reduced power limit. 40% less power used for 90% of the same performance.

Surely there should be a Zero nada nothing option and a price option.
This. Totally unimpressive gen. They shrunk Ampere and added a silly price tag plus BS features. Yay

That's exactly what I thought.

Like Intel, they competed via sledgehammer and turbo wattslayer tactics.
Plus the only element of interest, remix, IMHO is going to face Nvidia geforce now type studio pulling issues IMHO because they're not going to give up on remakes and re releases.
Studios won't just allow anyone to use they're game's as a template for customers own modded games regardless of what Nvidia believe. IMHO.

Haven't even read any reviews as a ~2500EUR card is something I can maybe afford 5 years later in the used market. So I didn't vote anything.

4090 has brought whole series of features, which impressed.
Price, consumption and demand. Crowd of customers. Marketing, DDLS 3 virtual frames, weight, size.

*None of the above. It's a semi-expensive toy, nothing to be impressed with. Not even a good space heater, a cheap heat pump would be at least three times more effective, not to mention being useful during summer.

I am surprised more people didn't vote for DLSS3. It literally doubles the frames on top of already doubling the frames from last gen in some games. Regardless what I think of Nvidia, DLSS3 is impressive. I hope it can get 100 game library support by end of 2023, If it does, I may consider switching to the green team.

I was thinking about it, but I read somewhere that it adds terrible input lag and ghosting artefacts at low fps where it really matters. At high fps, it's pointless.

Other than this, the card is an oversized 3090, nothing more.

Pretty much this. DLSS3 isn't worthless, but it does have it's problems and can be a deal-breaker for some games.

Fake_frames feature impressed me the most to be honest, but when I saw in reviews what that meant (messed up images and high latency), nothing. Absolutely nothing impresses me with the RTX4090.
Let's look at it objectively - it's the largest chip possible for this application built on the smallest node possible; of course they can cram in many shader processors, thus lifting performance up from so called previous generation. Oh and nvidia copied shader reordering idea from intel cards or whatever, so there's that to lift ray chasing a bit, but that's it. We shall see how the normal cards fare compared to the "previous generation".
It will be a shader_reordering vs. no shader_reordering excrement show at around $1000 a pop prices. The country's in the very best of hands...

It's promising, and I hope this means the 4050 is a 75w card, so us with low profiles can finally upgrade.

Where are insane size & price option ?

it won't matter, the bots and third party sellers will get them all anyway.

RTX Remix
Let's see some older games redone with this

< TPU handyman - always fixing things up!!

thank me later W1z (or employ me)
