Who still uses ATI CCC?

I use CCC. I used to hate it where it was clunky and slow, but these days its not so bad. ATi have improved CCC quite a bit.

i remember the days when it was slow, used tons of ram and took forever to load... its still a little slower than nvidias control panel, but it certainly does the job.

For me CCC loads nice an slick, interface is even quick. Only thing thats bloody annoying is for the last few Catalyst releases I haven't been able to change from the fugly "system skin" CCC uses by default :mad:

oh and dont forget that they removed scaling control for digital screens... that was a screwup of epic proportions.

Thats what happens when you let AMD buy ATi. I never had any problems with ATi drivers, but since AMD bought them things have just steadily gone from bad to worse with each passing month.

i have to agree. 9.3 and 9.5 are the only drivers since cat 8.12 i've had no issues with, and while 9.5 is the best overall its missing scaling.

most of the compatibility issues i've had are related to crossfire, but meh... they're getting better (its seems like its 2 good releases, one bad one - so 9.7 should be good)

You notice how ATi don't even have any of their tech guys on the rage3d forums anymore? They used to have at least 2-3 who listened to what people were saying they were having problems with and fixed it in the next driver release. Now they struggle to even fix something simple like the broken CCC skins :shadedshu

Some people officially involved with ATi stopped visiting Rage back when their forums had more heavy flaming and trolling. Those fellows started posting @ Driverheaven and B3D.

There are still some beta testers that post on Rage quite a bit. Spyre is a good example there. If you want to reach those higher up the chain try DH.

Twitter? Only twits use twitter. Heres a idea, how about the ATi guys actually have a constant precence in their own forums? Guaranteed driver issues will get fixed that way

You gotta realize they probably dont pay for 3 shifts, only day shift. Btw I'm tired of the whining, if there is such a problem use the AMD forums and the Catalyst Feedback Program, otherwise go with NV then.
