i think i MAY of f'ed up!...

my gfx card is a pci-e 2.0, BUT i dont know what version pci-e my mobo is!?!?

my setup..

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 6400+
Biostar TF520-A2
2GB OCZ Platinum Revision 2 Dual Channel Kit (2 x 1024MB) PC2-6400 800MHz DDR2
XFX GeForce 8800 GT 512MB DDR3 Extreme (delivery tomorrow!!

..FINALLY!)
650W CoolerMaster eXtreme Power Supply..

PLEASE HELP!!!!

your mobo, the one in your system specs, is a regular pci mobo.

its pci regular, pci 2.0 is a very new thing and only the new chipsets have it.

i dont believe so, i think it allows for more power to supplied to the grafix cards via the pci bus and additional bandwidth and the like.

As for the answer to your question PCI-e 2.0 is backwards compatible so it'll work fine.

i aprreciate that fact ur helpin, but the main point i was getting @ was my card gonna stuffer perfomance wise. not if it would work or not....
