Here my tip - Ditch the WD hard drives... they are the least reliable hdd's i have ever bought and many of my friends have bought... i have seen at least 10-15 die right after the warranty goes.
My suggestion... go seagate. If they die, they replace them no questions. I haven't had one die yet either ( been using them for 5 years)
My experiences over the past ten years or so have been exactly the opposite of yours!
