Windows 10 Support for Older Hardware Encountering Difficulties, Cut Off

Windows 10 support on my old Dell XPS M1710 is zero since day 1. Still no proper drivers for Video and Sound, only default generic ones after all those years....

Its a 10 year old c2d bases laptop? It isn't Microsoft's job to make drivers for dell products.

Intel fanboys where right all those years after all. AMD processors have compatibility problems.
Oh wait....

Fair enough. However with signed drivers from nVidia or Intel, one would expect to have at least decent functionality. All the games that were (are) running like champs on the Windows XP, are barely crawling on Win 10 with multiple artifacts. On the sound side, there is no longer a controller for the internal woofer, therefore all sounds coming from the laptop are pure crap. So I'm stick with WinXP where everything is running perfectly fine. No need other OS.
