Tell him to try USPS Parcel Post, UPS Ground, or Fedex Ground. He's using something more expensive than it has to be.

Edit:
I just did a shipping estimate with USPS for a box that is 24x24x24 and 55 lbs and it was $107. Yowzer. Fedex is a lot cheaper.

I emailed him as soon as you told me about it and he never responded to me. But he said he responded to all PM's in his thread. By the time he did respond they had sold already :shadedshu.

I thought this would be good since he lived like 15 minutes from me and would save a ton on shipping. Oh well.... still hunting

I like the price though, but I am sketchy to order from them.

So what are you paying (or willing to) for the speakers themselves? I got a set in great shape, don't really want to sell them but live in an apartment building so I can't really use them anymore.
