This one for my main MSI Optix MAG342CQRV 34 Inch Curved Gaming Monitor - 21 : 9 UWQHD (3440 x 1440), 1ms Response Time, 1500R, VA Panel, 100Hz, Night Vison - AMD adaptive Sync, Mystic Light RGB
but i payed a lot less for it in a sale and my second display is PREDATOR Z1 - Z271U Tech Specs | Gaming LCD Monitor | Predator | Acer Baltics its older than the MAG but is 144 HZ.
ps ive just updated the link to my main as the other wasn't working.
Nice monitors you got mine is Samsung 22inch curved only at 60hz can't remember the model it 1980 x 1080 it do what I need for my setup but don't see myself buying a high end monitor for higher fps or hertz as I find it strains my eyes due to the sensitivity of higher hertz

Yeah that the honest truth all depends on the graphic card in question that drives the monitors. I find the curved monitor works better than flat monitor due to the complexity of the curved monitor helping the eyes to see things better on screen

ok, got my computer back.

I'm trying to figure out a way tho to make my computer not take 8 minutes to boot when that old bluetooth USB adapter is connected.
It takes forever, the computer beeps a few times on the american megatrends screen. 4 quick beeps.

It seems like a minor issue, but I intend to keep that bluetooth adapter in there to connect controllers to it. I have 3 bluetooth adapters and I have 3 computers so yeah....

Ive already tried disabling hibernation state and security device support. Doesn't work =/

What the purpose of the bluetooth adaptor when you can hardwire the controllers it eliminates the long boot issues

I just sent that USB dongle to the second PC and the second PCs dongle to the third. Easier that way.

Well, if I wanna play games without any cables on....

besides, I already have the dongles. They're already here so why not use 'em?

Tell me again, what test do you want me to run to see about the unlock turbo boost?
He was asking about the unlocked turbo boost using something with a bench test to make the turbo boost to come on with two cores disabled and just curious what the power consumption and heat is like comparing to all the cores enabled and disabled cores. It be interesting to know

Prime95 is what I use.

I run the SmallFFT test first when testing any CPU to test overall performance stability. It's also a great way to test where your all-core turbo's go to and rest at.

SmallestFFT testing is used for verifying stability on a CPU OC.

This is too demanding it will throttle and not show the max multi. only for a second. 135 W madness thats not holding 3.2 no matter what you throw at it.

I would not let mah boys down. Is this what you wanted:::

Was pretty stable , all cores full on 3.5Ghz locked.
Maybe I could even try and push it further but it wouldnt make any sense to me. This computer is supposed to be my slowest for testing purposes lol

Lemme know if you want anything else =D

You might be having a cooling problem then.

For that CPU, those all-core turbo states look like they're right where they're supposed to be.

The core temp seems pretty high when running at full tilt seems like a tjmax is reporting too low or too high resulting an inaccurate reading is what I am thinking or possible low tier heatsink not disapating heat fast enough to keep the CPU cool resulting high temperature

Did abit of reading on xeon e5 2666 it appears the tjmax is 79c as default might explain the high reading

Where are we at these days with cheap server parts? My 2600k is old and tired, and it's time to at least look at some options. What's the newest lineup that's still relatively cheap?

All depends on what is available. You could buy a cpu, ram, chinese x99 motherboard for under €300 depending on cpu and ram selection it reflects on the price. But that the cheapest I seen since

Honestly I think the used market on AM4 Ryzens is catching up on Xeons. Nowdays I dont recommend a Xeon build. You can build a budget Ryzen system for rlyyyyyyyy cheap. Its better and then you still even have the option to upgrade it more down the line, like for a 5600x3d, 5800x3d....

Sad but true. My Xeon is in a plastic bag along with the mobo for years now.

They are not cheap enough to be considered at all, I'm afraid. For the reasons he mentioned above.

lol how is it sad? That we have better components on the cheap? I mean, I recently built the Xeon build here mostly cause I was curious.
