I think it would be cool to have the old-school click button keyboard. WITH Led letters on the keys with a led back light. Of course with the old school DRIVE PEOPLE insane clicking noise hehe.

Anyone know where one could find this?????

Shit I just use an actual old school IBM Model M. Still works great!

I know those were the best of the best keyboards. My zboard is the only keyboard I have had of late that has held up.

I think I might plan on picking up that keyboard above for that reason alone. Plus the pics they have of them in the dark look SWEET!

Deck Keyboards are serious business. I have an 82 key model that was rock solid until I spilled a full can of soda in it. My best friend has that exact model and it is sweet. I'm going to order one soon, myself.

Why didn't you just wash it out?

Irony in the *sweet* :roll::roll:

Very *sweet!!!*

The new Razer Black Widow is a mechanical one with available backlighting...

screw razer and their mass produced mainstream crap gaming peripherals, Deck is where it is at. Honestly I think my legend (ice cherry tactile) might just last me forever and even if it breaks it has a lifetime warranty. Been using it for about 10 months now and its awesome, they even warranty modding the board.

Only problem with getting a legend is that you never, ever, will feel right typing on a different type on keyboard. every time I use a membrane board I cringe.

The Black Widow isn't available yet so you might end up being surprised. Mainstream/mass produced doesn't necessarily translate into a poor quality product.

Can't argue that Deck makes really nice keyboards though. I'd take a Das keyboard over any of them -it's just too bad they don't have a backlit one available...

I think he meant Das doesn't make backlit keyboards. All Decks are backlit to the best of my knowledge. I use a 105-key Deck Legend and it's an excellent product. Until I saw majestic12's post about Razer's Black Widow, I thought Deck was the only company that made backlit mechanical keyboards. I don't know of any others.

That's what I meant -sorry for any confusion. Every Deck keyboard that I've seen as well has been a backlit model. Haven't got to play around with them too much, but they felt a lot nicer than my Tarantula keyboard.

I just found another mechanical keyboard that looks fairly unique -

Too bad there's no backlighting on this one :rolleyes:
