Your GoTo Game

Counter-Strike 1.6, Defense Grid, Battlefield 3, and lately Tribes: Ascend.

Morrowind - I have replayed Oblivion and both Fallout's, but nowhere near as many times as this

Forza or Gran Turismo - pretty much the only time i use my games consoles, other than for iplayer or the occasional exclusive like Uncharted etc

Tetris - My mobile phone game

Starcraft II/Supreme commander: forged alliance.

supcom is my 'offline' game, since SCII only works online... and no one will play SC:FA with me anymore :(

Quake Live, sometimes GunZ: The Duel... but the latter kind of sucks for a lot of reasons. Good game, just badly designed and lots of cheaters.

Oh and the Max Payne Double hit, soon to be triple hit. (I already preordered my copy and yes I am getting the damn statue)

Bad Company 2 or BF3

back in the day it used to be Starcraft and Warcraft 2.

thesedays it's hard to determine an anchor. I'd say that mount and blade is my goto when I'm burned out on a "too much thinking required" game

but nothing seems to beat Half Life or any of its variants when I just need to kill something, lots of somethings.

Strange Adventures in Infinte Space and its sequel Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space for me. Never get tired of those.

For the last ~10 years, my GoTo game is/was probably Fallout 2, I play it at least once every 2-3 months. :)

Counter Strike Source used to be my GoTo game. But I haven't played a lot in the past year or two, and the new-ish updates have thrown off my muscle memory by changing the recoil and spray patterns.
Every now and then it just 'clicks' and I can go on an extended tear. But a lot of the time I miss shots that I should be able to make.
Probably a mixture of the game updates, less practice, getting older and having my reaction time&reflexes slowly degrading.

I am currently working my way through my game library backlog. I don't play any single game too long, that way I don't burn out on a game.

I dont know if anyone has already mentioned it but one of my fallback games is:

Heroes of Might and Magic 3

Simply cant get enough of it.

Magic Duel of the Planeswalker 2012.

Need still to unlock all deck cards :D. But its really fun to pwn AI. A match can last like an hour just to bring damage up to make him -999 lol

I played that at launch. I just can't stand the inability to truly customize your deck. I would love a version of DotPW that gave you full control over the cards you had.

Magic: Online
WoW (formerly)
Lately, Dota 2
Super Meat Boy

alliance of valient arms
Also stalker shadow of chernobyl

I don't have goto games or whatever you call it. I install all my fave games and play them whenever I want. I don't grow tired of them. Tomb Raider series, Doom series, Duke Nukem series, Quake series and so on.

ashes cricket 2009

Crysis, F.E.A.R. series, Half-Life 2 series

If I didn't have any current games right now...I would do some Alien Swarm, Counter Strike 1.6, or Quake 1 (Yes, it works on my Win 7 w/ no modding :D

RACE07, pCARS, STALKER CoP, Mafia 2, ARMA 2, R.U.S.E, RO2, Blacklight Retribution, World of Tank, Killing Flor, Race 07

i have 1TB of HDD space on C so i rarely uninstall a game, unless i do a complete reinstall of the OS, in which case the games above are installed right away
