ATI Radeon 9700 Pro - Awesome
ATI Radeon X850 XTX- OC'ed Well
ATI Radeon X1950 XTX
ATI Radeon HD 2900 - Given to me as a Gift - Replaced fast with HD 3870
ATI Radeon HD 3870
ATI Radeon HD 4870 - Crossfire
ATI Radeon HD 6970

Each time I would sell to fund the next. I started to skip a Generation starting with the HD 2900. I don't count the HD 3870 because I was not suppose to buy it, but the HD 2900 Generation was sort of problematic, so I sold it. :D

GTS 250 2 yrs
7970 currently

While the best bang for buck wise have been the 4200 Ti and GTS 250, the 7970 seems to be currently best bang for buck in high end cards, esp at the $330 I paid for it. Doesn't OC too well (tested stable at 1075 so far), but it's still a lot of GPU power for little more than $300.

6. Nvidia Geforce GTX770 2GB (ACX SC By EVGA)
7. Nvidia Geforce GTX770 2GB (Titan Ref: Cooler SC By EVGA)

If Intel's Larrabee would have come out as a gaming card it would be in the list. Anything before that list was pretty much Intel's IGP and One VIA IGP
