If you already bought a motherboard, no reason to swap to another brand. Both those others have pro and cons.
I still suggest sticking with DDR5-6400 if you plan on 64GB/96GB.
Thanks for tips my friend, i dont bought it yet, but since I've been using and really liking ASRock's qualities, it was my first choice, you know...
About the memory, could you tell me if this DDR5-6800 module could work on 6400 without any problems? The question is that my ASRock Extreme6 Z97 that I use to connect old HDDs (Server) has G.Skill memories and back then, it was something simple, just turn on the XMP and that was it... Today I don't know if it has changed, because watching some videos, I could see that the XMP of some boards allows you to select the Transfer Speeds.
I'll look further to see if there's a Kingston or XPG/Teamgroup meeting, unfortunately G.Skill isn't available in my location =/
I have three ASRock Z690 and two Z790 Steel Legend Wifi rigs. No issues with any of them. The Z690's have 64GB of DDR4 3600, one Z790 has 96GB of DDR5 6400 and the other 64GB of DDR5 6400. The Z690 Steel Legend WiFi can be bought for less than $150 USD today and the Z790 for less than $175 (I saw those prices online last week) All have G.Skill RAM; the 64GB 6400 uses SK hynix A-die and the 96GB uses M-die.
I use what works in my builds and have had great luck with ASRock/ G.Skill going back to the Z77 days for Intel and 990 FX for AMD.
Hello friend, true, I only have praise for ASRock, they last much longer, this Z97 Extreme6 that I mentioned, it basically works 16 hours a day since 2014
And it also has G.Skill Trident X DDR3-2400 16GB memories, perfect too, almost no BSODs over these 10 years, but unfortunately I think G.Skill no longer brings products to my location =/
The ones that exist are imports with very high prices
