Hello guys. I recently bought this card and im a bit concerned about hotspot temp only.
Playing demanding games results in up to 68-69 degrees on GPU, up to 64-66 on memory junction and up to 86-87 on Hotspot
The pic below is taken after 10 minutes timespy stresstest.

GPU and memory seem like what one must expect for this card, looking around on YT videos and forums, but Hospot seem higher (usually hotspot hits like 79 max with a 11-13 delta).
Delta gpu/hotspot is 16 degrees in this case but I saw up to 17.5.
Is that delta ok? and is the hotspot temp itself normal?
Thx for replies

It’s fine. If you are really bothered you can try to repaste the card or swap the paste for a PTM pad, but I wouldn’t worry too much. Hotspot readings can vary quite wildly between samples.

I saw about 12-14c with mine. I put a Thermalright Heilos pad on and typically I see 10c spread between GPU and Hotspot.

MSFS 2020 still kicks the HS temp up to 80 with ~305w core and ~375w board power.

Hi, thx for replies.
I cant repaste now, the card has 1 moth, warranty would be lost.
But I think that u consider the situation pretty normal right? its not RMA matter righ?

Oh hell no that isn't high. I know that they can't be compared, but my 6700 XT still goes over 90C with hotspot temps even with a beefy aftermarket cooler, yet still not worried.

I'd be worried if your hotspot temps would be 20C higher, your current temps are totally fine.

Youre fine

Some parts are designed to run hotter yes, we can't compare apples and oranges though

Yep, looks normal. Nearly exactly what my MSI 4070 Super runs actually. No worries.

My friend, you have a completely normal temperature. Don't panic. They are even really great for Zotak. Relax and enjoy the game!

It's more than fine my RX 7800 XT has ~88C Memory Junction, ~79C Hot Spot and ~57-59C GPU Temp but that depends on room temps. GPU Fan speed ~ 1150rpm.

Usually on average GPU memory junction temp is ~85-95C for different gpus.

I watched some videos on yt, temperatures look fine. Only the hotspot looks better on reviews, peaking at 78-80 in those videos.
Probably they send the best samples for review... my sample is not the best maybe, but 85 hotspot looks safe anyway, so I dealed with it
