Razer Game Booster Now Saving Game Progress to the Cloud

Razer, the world leader in entertainment devices and software, today announced a new feature for Razer Game Booster that automatically saves game data and settings to the cloud for thousands of titles. In its beta version, Razer Game Booster's Save Game Manager will back up a user's game progress to Dropbox. Other cloud storage services will be enabled in the program's full release.

Save Game Manager is compatible for games with local save files and it supports fully automated backup services for more than 2,000 titles. The list of supported games can be continuously updated by Razer's software engineering team as new titles are released and users may manually add games, ensuring that every supported game works with the Save Game Manager.

Razer Synapse 2.0 Brings Paperless Warranty to the Cloud

Razer, the world leader in high-performance gaming hardware, software and systems, today announced the addition of a warranty function to Razer Synapse 2.0, allowing gamers to quickly register and monitor their warranty period in a single convenient location through Razer's cloud-based hardware configurator.

The new opt-in Warranty function allows for quick registration of Razer's Synapse 2.0-supported products, and also allows users to register other Razer gear, such as analog headsets and mouse mats. Specific to North America, Razer is also removing proof-of-purchase requirements in its product return policy, if the guarantee can be verified automatically with the serial number.

Intel Corporation unveiled innovations in HPC and announced new software tools that will help propel businesses and researchers to generate greater insights from their data and solve their most vital business and scientific challenges.

Amazon Web Services Deploys NVIDIA GRID GPUs

NVIDIA today announced NVIDIA GRID technology is now available from Amazon Web Services (AWS) through its newly announced Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) G2 instance, delivering GPU acceleration to users running graphics-intensive applications and games in the cloud.

This expands the uses of cloud computing from storage, data processing and 2D applications to 3D, fully GPU-accelerated, interactive consumer and professional applications. With NVIDIA GRID GPUs, software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies can now build cloud-based offerings with extreme graphics performance for design, visualization, media creation, games and more.

NVIDIA GRID Technology to Power Playcast Cloud-Gaming Solution

NVIDIA today announced that NVIDIA GRID technology is powering the Playcast cloud gaming service being offered to customers of French fixed and mobile operator Bouygues Telecom. The service is available on TVs for users of Bouygues Telecom's Bbox Sensation set-top box for instant gaming on more than 50 titles.

"NVIDIA and Playcast have delivered a scalable, high-performance cloud-gaming system for our broadband customers," said Franck Abihssira, head of Fixed Services and Content Division, Bouygues Telecom. Verizon Selects AMD SeaMicro SM15000 Servers For Its Cloud Services

Samsung Introduces 21.5-inch Zero Client Cloud Display

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is exhibiting its latest virtualization products and solutions at VMworld 2013, an annual conference for IT professionals focusing on virtualization and cloud computing. Samsung will be showcasing a number of virtualization products for the first time in the U.S. at VMworld, booth #1729, from August 25-29. Intel Aims to "Re-Architect" Datacenters to Meet Demand for New Services

As the massive growth of information technology services places increasing demand on the datacenter, Intel Corporation today outlined its strategy to re-architect the underlying infrastructure, allowing companies and end-users to benefit from an increasingly services-oriented, mobile world. The company also announced additional details about its next-generation Intel Atom processor C2000 product family (codenamed "Avoton" and "Rangeley"), as well as outlined its roadmap of next-generation 14nm products for 2014 and beyond. This robust pipeline of current and future products and technologies will allow Intel to expand into new segments of the datacenter that look to transition from proprietary designs to more open, standards-based compute models.

ASUSTOR Launches AS 3 Series NAS

ASUSTOR Inc., a leading innovator and provider of network storage solutions, has announced the launch of its brand new AS 3 Series Network Attached Storage (NAS). The AS 3 Series NAS devices feature powerful multimedia applications including support for 1080p high definition video playback and are the first devices in its class to come equipped with Intel Atom 1.6 GHz dual-core processors along with 1 GB of DDR3 memory. The devices in this new series consist of the 2-bay AS-302T model and the 4-bay AS-304T model. All devices boast a wealth of power saving features including internal and external disk hibernation, Night Mode and System Sleep Mode (S3). After installing the XBMC multimedia player App from ASUSTOR's App Central, users will be able to use the HDMI interface to play audio and video from the NAS directly to any HDMI ready display. Further pairing XBMC with the ASUSTOR remote control (optional purchase) will allow users to freely and conveniently control all multimedia playback from their NAS. Additionally, users are also free to play the music they have stored on their NAS by connecting it to USB speakers, utilizing the audio jack or connecting the NAS to an amplifier via HDMI.

ASUS Announces New PCs with Latest 4th Generation Intel Core processors

ASUS today announced four new desktop PCs with the latest 4th generation Intel Core processors for high-performance productivity and entertainment. The G10 and M51 are stylish, floor-standing PCs; while the ET2311 and ET2702 are slimline All-in-One PCs with 23-inch and 27-inch widescreen displays, respectively. All four models also feature powerful NVIDIA and AMD discrete 3D graphics, with ASUS SonicMaster audio technology for incredible sound quality.

The ASUS G10 and ASUS M51 are designed for fuss-fee operation with flexible support for mobile devices. Supermicro Powers the Cloud with NVIDIA GRID
