ORICO Announces StudioLink: A Latest-Gen One-Stop Storage Expansion Solution for Apple Mac

ORICO, a leading innovator in data storage solutions, is proud to introduce a huge storage and expansion upgrade solution for Apple Mac users, called StudioLink. It's a powerful Apple desk setup for video creators, designers, filmmakers, professionals. 52 TB of combined SSD and HDD storage, a versatile array of high-performance inputs and outputs are designed to revolutionize creative workflow. Mac users, whether they are engaged in office work, graphic design, video audio editing and rendering, learning programming, music production, or video game development, often face challenges when it comes to storage capacity and
connectivity. For example, for a designer working with 4K materials at 30 FPS and 50 Mbps, one hour of footage can generate 22 GB of data.

It is calculated that every additional 256 GB upgrade costs over USD 200. The high storage cost and limited capacity options can deter many users from initial purchase decisions for larger capacities, and hinder productivity. ORICO StudioLink is a dream teammate for Mac devices to tackle the core challenges. It's a new generation of Apple storage expansion solutions that balances capacity, style, I/O ports, connectivity, and component size. Unleash the Mac's productivity.

VisionTek Unveils VT4950 KVM Docking Station with Triple-Display, Dual-System Support

VisionTek Products LLC (VisionTek), a recognized leader in the field of high-performance upgrades and accessories for PCs and Macs, today announced the introduction of the VisionTek VT4950 KVM docking station. This innovative product is the upgraded successor to the previously celebrated VT4900 KVM docking station and is designed to enhance the workflow of users in today's professional and remote work environments. "The VT4950 simplifies the process of switching between systems, saving users valuable time and making their workflow more efficient," said Nick Bill, director of product development and product marketing. NewQ Launches its 16-in-1 USB-C Docking Station with Triple 4K Monitor Support

NewQ, an innovative manufacturer of quality and affordable electronic accessories and consumer technology products, has today announced the launch of its new 16-in-1 USB-C Docking Station. Providing users with 150 W power delivery, 16 commonly used ports to meet most needs, super-fast file transfer and support for triple 4K monitors in both Windows, MAC OS and Steam OS. Whether for home, business or even gaming, this is an ultra-capable and portable device which can hugely improve productivity. The NewQ DisplayLink 16-in-1 USB-C Docking Station is currently on offer for RRP $199.99 (Now on offer at just $129.99 - 35 percent discount) on Amazon US.

Using the DisplayLink technology, the docking station can extend up to three 4K@60 Hz monitors quickly and easily. Of particular interest to Mac Users, this docking station can overcome the traditional limitations of Apple's M1 and M2 chips, which can save a huge amount of money compared to upgrading the laptop. Some docking stations can lift the restrictions of an extended display by using proprietary display drivers. Two types of this technology are both DisplayLink and InstantView, which can both achieve this by converting USB signals into display signals. However, a clear advantage of DisplayLink is that it can expand two monitors at 4K 60 Hz resolutions, whereas InstantMotion can only achieve one at 4K 30 Hz, and one at 1080p 60 Hz. In everyday use, a 4K resolution with a 60 Hz refresh rate will be noticeably smoother and clearer than a 30 Hz one such as when viewing a hi-res video. Likewise a 4K resolution provides far more definition than a 1080p one. It can also greatly improve productivity when using a larger monitor as you view more windows simultaneously.

Sonnet Announces Dual Display Adapters for Apple M1 Mac Computers

Sonnet Technologies today announced the DisplayLink Dual DisplayPort Adapter for M1 Macs and the DisplayLink Dual HDMI Adapter for M1 Macs, new additions to the company's line of dual display adapters for Intel, M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max Mac, and Windows computers. Sonnet's DisplayLink Dual Display Adapters for M1 Mac computers enable users to connect two 4K (3840 x 2160) @ 60 Hz displays — using either DisplayPort or HDMI connections — to a single port on their computers. These adapters are Ideal for use with productivity software such as Microsoft Office, enabling users to work more efficiently by expanding their computer's workspace — whether by opening multiple applications on their own screens, editing code or viewing spreadsheets in detail on a large display, or mirroring their computer's display on a larger monitor. They can also connect a computer to a big-screen TV for browsing the web and watching videos on YouTube and other content at a distance.

AOC Announces I1601P 15.6" USB Portable Monitor

AOC expands its portfolio of portable monitors with the new I1601P. Portable screens are an easy solution for extending a single monitor set-up to a multi-monitor solution, whether on the go, at work or in the small home office. The 15.6" (39.5 cm) I1601P is compact and similar in size to laptop displays. The I1601P features Full HD resolution and IPS panel technology to produce rich colors and sharpness and wide viewing angles (170/170°). It can be connected via both USB-A and USB-C input, all thanks to the single cable solution (cable included in the box).

Whether working from home or in an office, a second screen boosts productivity by effectively doubling the workable screen real estate. For many it has become obvious that working on a single screen, such as a laptop display impedes workflows by causing a cluttered and overloaded work space. Of course, this also applies when working on the go. Users accustomed to working with two displays at their office desk will demand the same productivity increase also on the road, on the train or an airplane, or in the field.

Synaptics to Acquire DisplayLink, Extending Video Interface Market Leadership

Synaptics Incorporated today announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire DisplayLink Corp., a leader in high-performance video compression technology, for $305 million in an all-cash transaction. DisplayLink's high performance software compression technology enables universal docking and casting of high bandwidth video from any device to any display using any transport medium such as USB, Ethernet or Wi-Fi. For the Enterprise IT market, the solution supports multi-OS environments including Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS and Ubuntu Linux enabling a myriad of devices to seamlessly dock to multiple high resolution (4K, 8K) displays.

Need a graphics card for very basic desktop usage and absolutely nothing else? ZOTAC has you covered. The company launched a new GeForce 710 based graphics card with a PCI-Express 3.0 x1 bus interface. The card is passive-cooled, and puts out the three most common display outputs.
