Alphacool today unveiled the Eisblock Aurora Plexi GPX-A line of full-coverage water blocks for a range of custom-design AMD Radeon RX 5700 series graphics cards. The lineup includes a model for the Sapphire RX 5700 XT Nitro+, one for the PowerColor Red Devil and Red Dragon models of RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT, and one for the MSI RX 5700 XT Gaming X. The common element between the three is a combination of nickel-plated copper primary material, mated with a clear acrylic top. The three weigh roughly 1.2 kg, and feature mount hole spacing aligning with PCBs from the three brands. Available now, the blocks cost 109.94€ a piece.

The Sapphire-specific model is compatible only with the RX 5700 XT Nitro+, and measures 260 mm x 141 mm x 23 mm (LxHxW). The PowerColor-specific model, which supports the common PCB PowerColor uses across its Red Devil and Red Dragon models based on the RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT, measures 238 mm x 143 mm x 23 mm. The MSI-specific model is the longest among the three, measuring 293 mm x 139.3 mm x 22.5 mm, supporting the RX 5700 XT Gaming X. All three support standard G 1/4" fittings.

Alphacool Announces Presale for Eisblock Plexi Light for Radeon VII

The dream of addressable Digital RGB

Not only the GPU, but also the voltage converters, the V-Ram and other components that generate heat are actively cooled with water.

Alphacool Shows Off Eisblock Flatboy 1U CPU Block and Updated NexXxoS V2 Radiators

To meet demands of the 1U server market and extreme enthusiasts Alphacool had on display their Eisblock Flatboy CPU block. While this latest solution is predominately targeted at servers with support for Intel's LGA3647 and LGA 2066 and AMD's TR4. That said, enthusiasts running a Threadripper system can also easily make use of the block as well. The only detailed specifications we have currently is that It measures in at 79 mm x 63.8 mm x 25.5 mm and offers multiple G1/4" connection options including 3x in and 5x out.

Alphacool Eisbaer Extreme 280 mm AIO on Display at CES 2019

While we covered the Alphacool Eisbaer Extreme at Computex earlier this year, it was once again on display at CES 2019. This sleek and fully encased 280 mm all-in-one liquid cooler comes ready-to-go out of the box and features an expandable all copper design. Rather than use ordinary fans, Alphacool has partnered with be quiet! to deliver high-quality, low noise cooling with two 140 mm Silent Wing 3 fans taking center stage. They max out at 1300 RPM. The quick release fittings provided for expansion with Eisbaer ready products have also seen improvements in terms of appearance. They now come in all black and are smooth, compared to more angular red and blue color coded versions seen on the Eisbaer LT. The matte black tubing features a high kink resistance, while the rest of the fittings are of course industry standard G1/4".

Cooling of the CPU is handled by Alphacool's Eisblock XPX which is the same here as what they sell directly for those building custom loops. Too keep coolant flowing Alphacool has paired the Eisbaer Extreme with their latest VPP755 pump which supports PWM functionality. In order to keep the entire unit looking clean Alphacool has encased it in an all aluminum housing that encloses and protects the radiator, fans, pump, and reservoir. The system is also fully compatible with Alphacools entire family of Eisbaer ready porducts. Availability is expected soon.

Alphacool Presents the Eisblock Flatboy Waterblock for Socket TR4 Systems

Alphacool has been growing their product portfolio immensely as of late, and now, the company is teasing the Eisblock Flatboy, the company's specifically-designed waterblock for AMD's Ryzen Threadripper CPUs. Threadripper CPUs have one of the biggest surface areas ever encountered in a consumer processor; because of that, not all cooling solutions are appropriate to cool the up-to 16 cores and 32 threads monsters, with a higher surface area than normal being needed.

Still in the prototype phase, the Eisblock Flatboy integrates a reverse, silent flow pump system, like the company has already introduced on their Eiswolf product. The prototype as is seems to obstruct clearance for the rightmost DIMM slot to the left of the CPU socket, which shouldn't pose a problem for some people, but would be an extremely sore point for prospective buyers should that design decision overflow towards the final version.
