Lepa Shows Off 80 Plus Gold-Certified 1600W Full-Modular PSU

Lepa unveiled a mammoth-capacity 80 Plus Gold certified PSU, the G1600. As its name suggests, it is capable of delivering 1600W of power, which should be sufficient for quad-GPU gaming PCs or extreme overclocking benches. The PSU achieves its gargantuan capacity using six 12V rails, including two 20A and four 30A ones. The PSU is cooled by a 135 mm fan. It features fully-modular cabling, which appears to include two 8-pin EPS connectors, and as many as twelve 6+2 pin PCIe power connectors, apart from a large number of SATA/Molex/Berg connectors. The PSU will start shipping very soon.

Lepa Unveils New Entry-Level PSUs

Lepa unveiled the N300 (300W) and N350 (350W) entry-level PSUs. Pictured below, is the N3x0 PSUs feature a top-fan design, cooled by a 120 mm fan. While these PSUs are equipped with protection mechanisms that are standard with modern PSUs, such as over-voltage protection, over-current protection, overload protection, short-circuit protection, etc., they lack 80 Plus certification. Both N300 and N350 feature just the one 6-pin PCIe power connector, apart from four SATA, three Molex, one Berg, and 4+4 pin EPS, next to 24-pin ATX. Pricing and availability information is not available.

LEPA Readies New Mainstream PSU Lines for Gamers and System Integrators

Ecomaster is readying new LEPA-branded power supply units (PSUs), targeting mainstream system integrators and gamers. LEPA's new products are branched into N-series, targeting system integrators, and W-series, targeting gaming PCs. Both lines consist of non-modular PSUs that are compliant with the latest PSU standards, including EU ErP Lot 6 2010 standby power draw requirements.

Starting at €34.90, the N-series includes 400W, 500W, and 600W models. The N-series boxes feature active PFC, a single 12V rail design; Over Power, Over Voltage, Over Current, Short-Circuit, and Brown Out protection mechanisms; and are cooled by a 120 mm PWM-controlled fan. The W-series, on the other hand, starts at €59.90, and includes 450W, 500W, and 600W models with higher-grade components, are 80 Plus (std.) compliant, single 12V rail design, and all the protective mechanisms available with the N-series.
